It's hanging on the wall beside me. Two or three weeks ago, dh and I were having breakfast before the fire at Cracker Barrel and of course we had to look around in the gift shop. We found a snowman wall decoration that we loved, so we got it for our Christmas gift together. Ds gave me a nice knife set. The men in my family do not wrap gifts or wait until the proper day. I am not expecting anything else.

Actually dh and ds are pretty good with helping me out. The only trash complaint I have is that dh will take out the trash and forget to put a new liner in. If he doesn't do it before he takes the bag out the door, he gets busy doing something else. But at least he empties the trash, right?

Not ready for Monday, at all. I have bronchitis, so dmil and dear aunt in law have graciously decided they are preparing the meal instead of me. We will be having tuna sandwiches. And you know what? It will be fine. They love me and are not as invested in a traditional meal and I am just gonna let them do it and everyone will be happy. I will prepare a nice meal for my immediate family the next day. My weekend plans include meds and rest, with short times of light work as I feel like it. Dh is gone for the weekend. I am sipping hot chocolate, listing to Christmas music, and watching Hallmark videos.

I never had stockings growing up (still haven't), so I tend to go overboard. My son just likes candy in his though, so that helps. It is nice candy though.

Mine is Jan. 3 and it will be my first, too.

It wasn't a discount place and this is the second place I have gone. Glad to know it's not just me. With the comforter, there were no spots, it just doesn't feel or smell clean. I can't really explain what I mean by feeling clean.

Do you ever wonder if they really clean your clothes? The last time I took my coat in to be cleaned, it didn't really seem "clean." I took a comforter a few weeks ago to a different dry cleaners, and it doesn't seem clean. What about you-are you satisfied with your dry cleaners or not?

I chop tons of vegetables for salad. We eat maybe two large Tupperware bowls full every week. Do you have a processor you love? The main thing I wonder about is will it chop the vegetables the size/shape that I want them? Thanks for any help!!

Dh and I went to the state park today and hiked. He goes back to work tomorrow. I think I will go and work in my classroom a few hours tomorrow and Sunday.

Well, I didn't cook the mixture long enough today and the banana pudding was a little runny. Still tasted good, however.

I think you should go with your feelings on this one. The world won't fall apart if you get pizza for this one Thanksgiving. It's just one holiday out of the year. I hope you feel better soon.

I tenderize the steaks with a meat tenderizer, put them in a mixture of one egg, a little milk, tony cachery's seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder. I pan fry them after coating them with flour and the three same seasonings.Serve with mashed potatoes and gravy or anything you prefer.
