  1. I like all three. When I was pregnant, my favorite sandwich was salami with Kraft sandwich spread on white bread.
  2. I was pleasantly surprised this morning to see that I had reached today's goal weight. Now, I want to lose one pound per week. Is that doable?
  3. Yes, that's actually what I do. Leslie Sansone for me, but dh uses something else.
  4. My feet/heels are really dry. Sometimes to the point of cracking. I am sitting right now with coconut oil slathered on them. If I do this enough times, will it help? I've done it a couple of times and there really isn't a significant difference. Thanks
  5. I totally understand about 52 being too cold to walk. I haven't walked since we got this cold snap. I need around 60 degrees in order to be comfortable.
  6. I would like to finish deep cleaning the bathroom before school starts back on Monday. I would also like to have all the dishes done every night, but tonight I cut my finger, so I don't want to get the bandaid wet. Lousy excuse, but it's all I've got.
  7. First weigh in of the year was today and it was 237. I did a little Leslie Sansone and a lot of housework. I ate a clementine, a banana, blackberries, and a bowl of pinto beans with a little cornbread. Getting ready to eat a baked sweet potato. I know I need more exercise. Maybe tomorrow.
  8. My mother was ill for an extended period of time, so I was cooking for them. I knew she had blackberries in the freezer, so I had her give them to me to make them a cobbler. As it turned out, the berries were so old, they were just mushed in ice, sort of disintegrated. I didn't know berries would do that, but maybe they had a partial thaw and the enzymes started working. Anyway, I purchased berries, they got their cobbler, and they still don't know it wasn't their freezer berries.
  9. Renew my relationship with God and lose a significant amount of weight.
  10. Some years I stay up and some I don't. I will this year because we have a late night service at church.
  11. We are having chili tomorrow and we have already had taco soup. I make quite a few soups, but these are two that I make every winter.
  12. My family is about four and a half hours away. Dh's family is about an hour away.
  13. The only gift I buy for my parents is mother's day/father's day. Several years ago, we realized all we were doing was trading cash or gift cards. We decided that was foolish, so made the decision to stop. I do exchange birthday gifts with my sister and get her grandchildren gifts.
  14. I have a lot of weight to lose-between 80 and 100 pounds. I want to get serious about taking it off for several reasons. My plan is to eat mostly fruits and vegetables, beans, and a little meat. I will cook a normal meal of meat and two sides once a day when dh is home. When he is away at work, my dinner will be leftovers in some form. For exercise, I walk outside if the weather cooperates, walk with Leslie Sansone inside and do leg lifts. What kinds of support do we have on here? It seems like I remember weekly threads?
  15. Another advantage to using a homemade mix is that I never have to remember to pick up taco seasoning. I nearly always have the spices available, and I love that I can control the salt.
  16. I think it would be very kind of you to go and the family will appreciate it.
  17. It's 40 here, but the sun is shining so that makes it better. I have all the blinds up to enjoy it. It's been gray for several days.
  18. I cut off thin slices from a pork loin and fried it. My family would much rather have this than regular pork chops. To go with it, I fixed english pea salad, potatoes with sour cream and dill, and toast.
  19. My fil is like thiis, but I don't have to overnight at his house. If I taste test a dish, I use a clean spoon with each taste.
  20. Church at 10:30 Ds will leave to visit my parents in another state Dh and I will have a relaxing evening. I have no idea what we will eat
  21. Start deep cleaning bathroom Wash dishes Organize kitchen cabinets-they can't wait for deep cleaning Cook dinner Finish paying bills Bank statement All depending on how my recuperation goes
  22. You have been given several options, but I wanted to mention that you can buy ham flavored bouillon in the aisle where chicken bouillon is sold. The brand I like is Better than Bouillon and it is a thick spoonable product. It would make your gravy more ham tasting, maybe? I have never used the ham one, but I love the chicken one. Good luck. You're doing a kind thing.
