We are working with pronouns. I have been silently struggling with how detailed this book goes into (ie, Is it really necessary for my kids to know what a predicate nominative is?) Now my kids are asking the same questions. I know I'm the teacher and the book is a tool. Is all this detailed, technical material truly necessary? Do kids excel if they just know the basics of grammar? I'm getting a bit overwhelmed.
