  1. Great ideas here! (I LOVE Pinterest too!) Thanks for all the creativity!
  2. Screen protectors are necessary IMO, as well as a case. Phones get more wear and tear so it's worth it to protect it (it probably cost a lot seeing as all these 21st century gadgets are!) so I would invest in a good screen protector and a case. I have an iPad and I bought a stylus for it, GREAT! So you might want to purchase one for the Kindle?
  3. I've never been a fan of massages personally, but that sounds great for you! My dd7 LOVES it when I play with her hair, or if we're just lounging around and I lightly scratch her back. She's even started playing beautician to her friends and giving them head massages like mommy and also learning to play with their hair and give them some of her favorite hair styles.
  4. The spelling program that I’ve used and found to be tried and true is Zaner-Bloser’s Spelling Connections. It’s a full curriculum, but I have to say it’s not overly intensive, no extensive planning involved. Even if you don’t want to commit to the full curriculum, the program offers a lot of fun digital resources such as online games, practice activities, and eBooks, also tons of free print outs. Here’s the overview page of the program, it’s definitely one to consider! http://www.zaner-bloser.com/spelling/zaner-bloser-spelling-connections-overview
