Hi Shannon, For the summer we are going through the BJU biology with the DIVE CD. I plan on her taking the CLEP test when she is done. So far I have not needed the teachers book, but I do have it. My daughter loves the BJU biology! She did like the Apologia. There is more information in the BJU then the Apologia. It is too long to write why, but we did use Apologia last year. Hi everyone, I was planning on using IEW's American Literature this year for my daughter. As I was going through the book I liked it, but did not love it. Just to clarify, I think IEW has many wonderful books and DVD's. Has any one used a American Literature program they love? Thank you! :)

Artes Latinae looks to be a great program that we would enjoy. I have been looking at Visual Latin recommended by DVLA. I really like this program too. Could anyone compare the two programs?? DVLA could you tell me more about Visual Latin? Please help me decide between the two programs. Thank you!

Hi, I have a 14 yr old and we are planning to add a Latin program this coming school year. I nor my daughter have a Latin background. It needs to have a DVD in the program to work for us. I would like a program that she would enjoy, learn, retain, and continue to advance in. I have been looking at Artes Latinae DVD and like how it works. Has anyone used this? I also have looked at Latin for Children with a DVD. I liked it too, but I think it may be for younger children. It would be a added blessing if it were a Christian based program. I would appreciate any advice concerning Latin!:) Thank you, LilHenandChick
