We (actually he did it with no help from me. :) ) used Teaching Textbooks and ds was able to pass the entrance exam for college calculus.

My son just passed the entrance exam for college calculus after doing TT pre-cal. That was the only level of TT that he did.

My dh and ds could tell you more. I'll try my best. :) DS had to put in an application some time back. At first he didn't get accepted. Then he got an e-mail about a spot opening up, but we hesitated and the spot was filled very quickly. They've put him on a wait list if anyone cancels. I think ds filled out the application on-line. I'll ask him more about it when he get home and try to tell you more.

Does anyone have experience with their son or daughter going to Oshkosh for the National Blue Beret NCSA? Can you tell me about it? Was it a good experience? Are the cadets well supervised (during down time, especially?) Thanks!

I just bought Year 1! I'm really excited about getting started. We are going to start and plow through the summer. Thanks for the help, Ladies! (Year 3 is scheduled to be done Dec. 2012.)

I did and this was the reply. :) "Year 2 will be ready in June" I didn't ask about Year 3.

I was ready to hit buy and then saw that years 2 and 3 aren't finished. I'm a little concerned about that. And I need hand holding, too!

As one that has to look at everything out there, lol, I'm also considering Biblioplan. I really, reallly like the samples that I've looked at so far. I'd love to hear from anyone using this with highschoolers. Do you think it could be mostly done independently and accelerated? My ds only has 2 years left, and I'm wondering about trying to do all four years in that time. Also, what do you use for your core for year one? Would Streams of Civilization and the Companion be enough? Thanks in advance for any thoughts!
