I've tried google and I'm not finding much.Tried search on here and I'm pulling up anything and everything to do with history :) Is there someone who can tell me the differences in these editions?

Thank you ladies! I was searching through threads here last night. One thing I read was that it is very much like Rod and Staff. I do like R&S material but I have been trying to find something with an actual text the student writes in. We need something that is more open, write, and go for the stage we are in right now :) We are already using Easy Grammar. I am hoping that a combination of the two will be a sound system.

Thank you all for taking the time to share your thoughts! Is it snoopy of me to ask you to share the info here too? I'm learning a lot by reading the thoughts of others and I can't read the pm :D What is OPGTR? What have you used in the past?

I saw this mentioned on a blog and went to look it up. It seemed a little fishy that nearly all the reviews were posted the same day :blushing: I thought I would ask here to see if anyone has used it and would mind sharing their thoughts on the program. I am considering both level pre 1 and level 1. The children I would be starting in the program are 4 and 6.

We have been homeschooling for a few years, just recently we were introduced to Sonlight. I like the looks of the program (plus my daughter loves to read!) but I am confused and hope someone here can help me. I see that it appears from the website that Language is included in the 2012 IG. Was Language not in the 2011 IG? Also, I found a set of the Core E items. The IG from 2011 and all the books needed, expect four, for $165. Is this a good price for a used set? I tried searching on here but I am seeing mostly parts of a Core and not the full Core.
