We did the online WTM prep class. It has been wonderful and plan to do the Expository Writing (Writing with Sill) class next year.

My almost 11 year old reluctant reader loves the Percy Jackson books. For the first time he is reading on his own, just for fun. Any other suggestions for a boy who likes this books? He is fascinated with mythology.

My nine year old is in Level 7 of AAS. She is very strong in all language arts and a natual speller. However, because she is so young I really don't want to quit spelling all togethe and would like her to have practice and continue to work on harder words. I was considering a program studying root words, but we do Latin so didn't know if it would be redundant? Looks like IEW has an Advanced spelling program, anyone know anything about it? Any suggestions?

This is a great old thread I would like further guidance on. My kids are doing IEW themed based writ5ing this year and enjoying it. For next year I am torn between the WTM online class "Writing Prep for Espository Writing" or doing another year of IEW before Espository Writing (WWS1) in 6th grade. I have on child that struggles with writing and one that loves it and does very well Anyone have any thoughts? Pros or con?

I am trying to remember the name of a math drill book. I comes spiral bound with different colored pages. It has multiples of the same page and the child does each page until they can do it 100% under a certain amount of time. Anyone remember/know what this is?

I am looking for a human anatomy lapbook. I have seen the one from Apologia and it looks good. However, we are not young earth and I don't want a lot of religion, just anatomy study. Would I be able to use this?
