  4. I don't know of a lesson plan but here are some great resources to go with that time period. I will be doing SOTW 2 for our co-op as well. http://www.homeschoolinthewoods.com/HTTA/PPS/TheMiddleAges.htm http://www.handsofachild.com/the-middle-ages-curriculum.html http://www.amazon.com/Days-Knights-Damsels-Activity-Guide/dp/1556522916/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1340307683&sr=8-3&keywords=activity+guide+for+the+medieval+times http://www.yourchildlearns.com/castle.htm http://www.amazon.com/Medieval-Village-USBORNE-CUT-OUT-MODELS/dp/1409501051/ref=dp_ob_title_bk
  5. Oooh!!! Thank you. Do you have a link? Or just type in "historical atlas"?
  6. I would like a map of the world (or just Africa, Europe, Asia) like it would have been in ancient (4000-0 BC) times. And if it had another (current) map that overlaid it, that would be great. Has anyone ever seen such a thing?
  7. We liked the curriculum better than the meetings, so we purchased used, and will be doing it at home. I do LOVE the Charlotte Mason approach to learning :)
  8. Get 'em and sell the extra's. Sounds like people are crazy about them LOL
  9. Thanks those are some fun online games. I was hoping to find some sort of guide/text book to help figure out what some of these manipulatives are for. They have some that I know how to use: inch & centimeter rulers two color counting discs fraction circles clock money pattern blocks but these two I have no idea what they are for: circle with four sections numbered 1-4 in different colors with detached arrows grid with strips in sections of ten blocks and single blocks does anybody know what those are for or where I might buy the workbook to go with this set ???
  10. I just got these at a garage sale yesterday for a $1. But I think there is a book that must go with them. They are manipulatives, but there was no instruction on how to use them. Does anyone on here know of these ? Math Advantage My Manipulatives and Workmats Harcourt Brace 015310029x 9780153100291 Grade 1 Thank you for any help. Kristy
  11. Yeah, but nothing I posted for offer was asked for LOL I guess I don't have the best curriculum either.
  12. Just remebered: http://curriculumshare.com/index.php
  13. I used to get $200 for my cleaning. I would go over every other week. I would clean the bathrooms (she had 4), vacum & mop, and dust. One time I cleaned out her a/c intake and she was very excited, said that had never been done before LOL I could tell.
  14. My dh and I have a disagreement about church too. He doesn't want to go and I do LOL He works 6 days a week and just wants to sleep on his day off.
  15. Well, I just cleaned house for a friend of the family. I guess you could put a flyer up at the church your kids go to. Are you part of a local homeschool group? You could ask them.
  16. That stinks :( Do you need anything right now? You can check out my for sale site and count it all free :) It's not moving anyway. OH! did anybody say cleaning houses? I did that for awhile and it paid well :)
  17. Sorry I don't have more advice. But....have you heard of The Book Samaritan http://www.thebooksamaritan.com/ ??? That might help out in the future with curriculum.
  18. What do you have to sell??? Maybe people here would want to buy?
