You might like this free curriculum from Wee Folk Art. We're doing the summer guide called Puddles and Ponds right now for preschool (it works for kindy too), and DD loves it! There's one for every season and we're really excited to start the other ones when the time comes, too.

I'm looking for books to read to DD (who's almost 4) around the 4th of July. I'd love ones about the Revolutionary War, the history of the flag, life in the colonial era, biographies of key players during this time period, etc, preferably in "story" format rather than a dry "textbook" format. She's not ready for chapter books just yet, but anything with lots of well done pictures would be great! Thanks!

My DD is in the same place (except she'll be 4 the first week of October) and I'm planning on keeping things playful and fun. I plan on introducing her to phonics with OPGTR and Bob books and math with Kumon books (and maybe Singapore), but only if she's up for them. We'll be doing lots of math games, as well as stories, arts and crafts, baking, etc from the homeschool guides at Wee Folk Art.
