  1. Try Boyhood and Beyond to challenge your growing boys to step boldly into manhood. Created for Work is another title by this author. We read a chapter aloud to the family each week and even the girls enjoyed it. https://www.amazon.com/Boyhood-Beyond-Bob-Schultz/dp/1883934095/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=boyhood+and+beyond&qid=1627561474&sr=8-1
  2. Welcome suggestions on free (and purchasable) memory tools set to music. Youtube? Thanks!
  3. Try this... You'll have to pick through this list, but there are a ton of Free Language learning CD's from Audio... Cantonese, etc... and other classics. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_st?keywords=audible+audio&qid=1348024745&rh=n%3A283155%2Ck%3Aaudible+audio&sort=price
  4. Just found French WordPower 101 for audio for FREE. http://www.amazon.com/Learn-French-Word-Power-101/dp/B0081NY9R8/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1348024597&sr=8-1-spell&keywords=learn+french+wordpower Anyone else found any other books?
  5. I've been in Africa for 4 years... so forgive me if the question is dumb. When you upload Netflix videos to watch on your home TV, do you get to keep the movies forever, do they expire after a while...? Can someone explain how it works? Also, if you go offline say with an iPad, but you have a Netflix uploaded onto it, does it stay on there until you reconnect to wifi again? Need a little clarity about how using Netflix on your ipad type stuff works. Thanks.
  6. Looking to invest in some Horrible Histories... books and wondering what the word was about which ones are most highly recommended and if they are worth the money. Alternate titles? Thanks.
  7. Thanks! Any ideas what a good price is for the curriculum used?
  8. The insight regarding FIAR has been great. I bought a bunch of the books hoping to do just what many of you have described... doing it on top of other things, just to make the little ones feel apart (I have 3 kids, all 1 year apart). But I was going to try doing the FIAR thing without the curriculum. What do you think? Do I really need it? Thanks.
  9. I'm new to homeschooling and want to know the best times to buy curriculum. I've heard that Scholastic has a Dollar Sale. When?! What about all the other companies? Can Anyone help? Thanks.
  10. Thanks for the details on the fee and to everyone who explained what Paypal is, how it works, and the safety that it grants.
