Hi PeterPan ... I figure if anyone would know about Lindamood-Bell Evaluations it would be you. So have you heard of them? If so opinion please and thank you ?. Thinking the material they use is “Seeing Stars”, “Visualizing and Verbalizing”, “Talkies”, and “LIPS”

Ooo, definitely post on LC and get some broader experience! The center evals they do are obviously aimed and promoting their products. The training for the workers is brief and cost exceptionally high. The materials are fully scripted, so if you want you can actually buy them and do the materials yourself. The magic is in getting it done, not who does it.
LIPS is terrific and Talkies/V/V (Talkies being the primer level) is terrific. I just got their history sequence today and it's GORGEOUS. I personally think RB is better for math, but I know someone using their math kit and liking it. So the main issue is the cost, not whether the stuff is helpful. My one caveat there is their reading approach is not OG. If your dc needs OG, do OG, kwim? But otherwise, good stuff, yeah. Just depends on whether you want to pay someone to do it or do it yourself.
As far as evals, the center eval is not a psych eval. If you need an actual diagnosis, paper trail for accommodations, etc., you still need a psych eval, and depending on the disability possibly a multi-factored eval. I think the need for the LMB materials is just so obvious that you shouldn't need to pay for evals to figure it out. Just go with your gut.
