  1. Thanks. I ment OCD. I don't know how the letters got mixed up.
  2. Have you seen anyone who specializes in OCD? Our 15 year old daughter was recently diagnosed and is in a intensive outpatient program. I had no idea how it can manafest so differently and how common and misdiagnosed it is. I would recommend just reading up on it and see what you think.
  3. Looking for a good book/s that explain the differences and types of governments. Thanks
  4. We have 5 phones and only mine is the "smart"'phone. We pay $193.00 a Month right now and thats just so much for phone service I feel. That extra $30. A month is $360. A year or nearly $1.00 a day! Yikes. I could save it a buy a darn iPad mini right?
  5. I can't keep paying an extra $30.00 a month for my iPhone so I'm going to give it up after 2 years and go back to a basic phone. I'm going to miss it so much I'm afraid. Has anyone else downgraded? How bad is it???
  6. Sorry hit send to early. I just wanted to add I agree with the fertility monitor suggestions. Christmas is coming maybe you could use money from relatives? I will keep you in my prayers.
  7. I have some books you could borrow if you would like to email me privately. I'm 39 and have learned to read my body's signals pretty well. We have 5 children and our youngest just turned 3. We abstain when I feel I'm fertile and my husband is very understanding of that but does get a little frustrated if we miss our window some months. He is Anglican and I am Byzantine Catholic. Neither of us believe in using anything abortive so even though abstaining can be frustrating at times we both believe it's the right thing to do. I dont feel that the pill is good for your over all health (I took it at a young age for period regulation) and I would suggest you make an appointment with a knowledgeable chiropractor. He could help both your irregular cycles and mental state. My 13 year olds cycles were sometimes less than 3 weeks apart and our chiro got her all sorted out.
  8. I can't wait to show that to my older daughters. They LOVE Doctor Who and British tv. I would listen Linkin Park. Gives me energy
  9. I agree. I like them both. With nuts too! But I have to admit I hardly eat them because they are so messy and hard on the teeth ;(
  10. We go through the bag and throw away anything thats gummy and made in China and also taffy type candies that pull fillings out. We basically just keep the chocolate, some lollypops and chips. I'm not a big fan of trick or treating. The people get crazy around here with the scary costumes and decorations so I told the kids this year if they dont want to go we can go to the store and they can each pick their own candy.
  11. Well, I'm 39 so am I older or middle? It has gone by so fast, remember that young mothers :) I don't like that word at all and my husband uses it at times in place of swear words and it really gets on my nerves and our daughters (14, 12, and 10) can't stand it either. But I also dont care for butt, shut-up, stupid and hate. I think hate is thrown around much too casually. I get really sad if my 2 year gets mad at says shut-up to me cause he has heard others say the word. I know he doesn't understand but it still makes me sad. My other children never say it to my husband or me but may say it at times to each other. I guess I really just try to stress not using words that I dont want to hear a little one repeating.
  12. We have this problem. Haven't taken a vacation in years and my sister is flying off to Disney with her kids. I'm not really upset about it cause if I had that kinda extra $ I wouldn't be spending it on Disney but our kids get a little sad and thats when I feel bad.
  13. Will be praying for her recovery and for her family. So kind of you to ask for prayers and to keep us posted.
