Overall, I like our first year homeschool experience. The one thing I really miss is the cooperative learning that my son got at his Montessori school. The kids often worked together on projects. Any advice on how to gain this type of experience for a first-grade only child? I'd be willing to set something up but I'm not even sure what I would do or how. Any advice? Thanks! Lisa

These are GREAT resources. Thank you! Would you do piano or violin at this age? My son has some fine motor skill issues. . .so I was waiting until he was a bit older so he wouldn't get frustrated.

My 5.5 year old son is very musical. He loves songs and signing. I need more good music to influence him. Or maybe it's time for piano lessons? Or some other type of music lessons. Suggestions on ways to bring more music into his life? Thanks! Lisa

I'm in search of educational videos that would be educational to my son. When my 6 year old wakes up in the morning before school, I need to be in the kitchen, getting breakfast and making his lunch. It's a perfect time to play something on the computer that we can both watch and talk about. I just now need ideas now! Ideas that I can get from library, Netflix or online would be great! Thanks!
