I love crossword puzzles and variety puzzles. I do them while I wait at co-op for my daughter. I have no problem researching the answers or even looking in the back. The more I finish, the more I'll learn for the next time. I'm doing these for my own enjoyment. I see no reason to be frustrated or guilty!

We stayed at the Homewood Suites. It is right on the Riverwalk. They have a great full breakfast buffet. I believe they even serve a light dinner during the week.

DD is using Spanish I this year. I don't speak Spanish. I took French in school. When I have questions on her worksheet, I'll type the question, her answer and the answer key answer into Google Translate and see what they all say in English.

Just an FYI. Government is not one of the required elements for a homeschool in Texas. Good Citizenship is. This can be met in many different ways and is not something that needs to be taught ever year.

I took my husband's name. When we went to apply for our license, the registrar asked if I wanted to keep my last name - Bennett - for my husband's very long very German name. When I said I was taking his name, she said "You must really love him!"

We are out and about most days of the week during school hours. This coming year, dd has outside classes on Mondays 10-2, Tuesday 2-4 and Fridays 9-11. Through the years, we've just learned how to work around her schedule. Luann

I'm going to assume that your user name means you are in Texas. Have you looked into getting a TexShare Card? This allows you to use any library in Texas. You just need to return books to the same library that you use get them from. I live in an unincorporated area so don't have any library that I qualify for. I was able to get a Benbrook card - they give them to anyone and then a TexShare card from them. I was able to get a Fort Worth library through this system.
