    This is how I deal with it, too. I just wish I could set that as the default display instead of always having to go and change it.

    I think it makes it easier to wade through all the messages if they are separated into specific boards. It would make it much easier to find a recipe if they were all stored together. Only downside is that it would have a serious impact on my waistline ;-)

    I said 3 years, K was light and we are just starting 3rd grade. There is certainly a lot of experienced mums on these boards. All the better for us newbies to learn from :D

    I enjoyed The Historian once I got into it a bit further. It was one of those books that grow on you ;) I'm currently reading The Kings of Albion, The Adventure of English and Galileo Antichrist - A Biography. I love being able to understand all the historical references in these books; a huge thank you to SOTW :D

    With my 3rd grader I'm using LLATL, Minimus Latin, English from the Roots Up and Growing with Grammar. January is the start of our new school year so my LA curriculum feels really overloaded. Once we settle in to a routine I am expecting that some things will either be dropped or modified to suit.
