  2. I have no suggestions but IF it were me, id get any sink- you can change it later. You can get white cabinets or any cabinets (paint them white)- again change later. As for stove, i like electric. I like a dishwasher, but i can live without.
  3. normal. Of course if they get worse then call the OB.
  4. That happens at my MOPS meetings too. I feel like because i have an almost 5yr old, they dont ask me any questions but sometimes i just jump in the convo because thats the only way to get heard!
  5. I didnt have jealousy issues with N and C (or even N and L), but with C (just about 2yrs old at the time) and L I sort of did. I still remember L was a few weeks old and wrapped in a blanket and had a blanket laying over her, C walked up and took the blanket from L and it has been her "blankie" since and there were no jealousy issues. They fight and bicker like normal sisters do, but no jealousy issues. I know that doesnt help but i thought id share. :grouphug:
  6. Some banks make the donors go through screening. Some banks dont. There are options. :)
  7. you could move on to the 1st grade R&S, thats what we plan to do. :001_smile:
  8. I would pick ETC vs Bob but id use BOB to supplement.
  9. I agree with all BUT D. I believe animals have souls. Do I believe my dogs will be waiting in heaven? yes. The bible doesnt really say one way or the other on the issue.
  10. Its all me here too. DH helps in little ways but he also works.
  11. I was wondering this. I cant have yogurt but i wondered about greek. DH LOVES it but i cant have it.
  12. Well there is no "safety" zone with pregnancy. Anything can go wrong whether now or 40wks. 12wks is not a magic number. Your risk lowers but doesnt go away. I would tell people when you feel ready. :grouphug:
  13. I dont know if theres a DVD but Artistic Pursuits is a great, easy program.
  14. I wouldnt sign my kids up, but DH should have been a part of it, he needed a group like that. I tried taking the quiz they have on their site and I got lost on the 2nd question, DH was speaking a foreign language explaining it.
  15. I cant think of anything but one thing i did BUY because my parents had it was Revere Pots and Pans. They got a set when they got married and they still use them 27yrs later and so one year with taxes, I bought a set and we are still using them 6yrs later. :001_smile:
  16. Im glad shes ok and yes she should take them up on counseling. :grouphug:
  17. I dont remember what we did for K, it wasnt anything formal though. 1st grade was MUS Primer and it was a disaster. 1st/2nd grade we switched to Saxon 1 and its MUCH better. I think you just have to try it, if it works stick with it. If not, drop it and try something else.
  18. I dont have any decor up or out yet but i did try to go to Target to get a new Menorah and for some reason this year my Target doesnt sell them but they have the rest of the Hanukkah stuff. :glare:
  19. well turn it into something fun but cheap. If he wants Airsoft, turn it into an Airsoft themed party! You can make a cake and decorate it with green and brown frosting for the camo. You can skip balloons and prizes, at 14 i wouldnt think they want those types of things. For the carpet- laundry detergent or dish soap and a scrub brush would work and a rug to hide really bad spots or move furniture too. For the couch, a flat sheet can hide the issues and febreeze or water + fabric softener to make your own.
