You could do Barbies but make it to your liking. You could make clothes that cover her up better for example if that was one of your concerns.

When my 6yr old started MUS she couldnt count past 10 and then she skip numbers and it was awful. We switched to Saxon and now she can count to 100 (with help). She can get to 50 on her own. Saxon has them write the number and theres a ton of review. Its a Spiral math rather than mastery. I dont know what RightStart is as far as that. As for reading, we use ETC now and i have seen a giant leap in reading and trying. She does get frustrated and you just have to keep at it. It will come.

Id check your HS laws first and see whats required, then go from there. I know you said unschooling and thats great but you may or may not even have to do certain subjects. There are many options on a tight budget, but tight budget is different for different people. There are even free curriculum out there. You can get a scholarship from Rainbow Resource to get curriculum and you can get curriculum through The Book Samaritan.

did they do a Chromosome test on you and DH? I know some Drs dont and some dont test DH other than an SA.

With my m/c in 2009, i m/c at home. I was already bleeding when i went to ER and found out the baby didnt have a HB and then 3d later m/c. I had labor pains, pressure like in labor and my baby came out and we buried the baby- the dr didnt do testing because we didnt ask for it to be done. I WOULD do it all again the same way, no matter how far along i was. I think you need to do what YOU feel is right. We can tell you 20 different experiences but that doesnt mean its right for YOU. We all go through a m/c differently and we all grieve differently. Even the way you m/c, can effect the way you grieve. :grouphug:

well even if she Od 11/2- shed be 11DPO and could get a + on a Bloodtest or HPT. ** I said she could. Some women dont get + til after AF is due, but there are many who get + as early as 7-8DPO on a really sensitive test.

My great grandmas table is what we have now. Its a wood farmhouse type table. I LOVE it but im afraid the kids will mess it up so i do keep a table cloth on it. However after reading this, i will go to Home Depot and get some sort of glass cut!

well id check your HS laws and see if you even need to do K right now. Then id start with the basics for K- Reading, Writing, Math. You can add or skip Science/History/etc. What you choose will matter how how your child learns and their level. EX: Math- do you want spiral or mastery? do they need hands on? Are they on level for math, behind or ahead? that can determine a lot of things as far as where to start in some curriculum because some dont review as well as others. For my 4, almost 5 K'r I use Rod & Staff ABC Series. Theres a perfect mix of Reading/Writing/Math.

my brother has this similar issue with his son. They never mention my brother nor the fact he lives 10mins away from his son and that my nephews sister goes to the same school. My brother has walked away not because he doesnt love my nephew but because this battle/war is bigger than he can handle and yes that possible when you have the other side that are mean, nasty people.

we have a limit- you can check out the number of books by your age. 6yr old gets 6 books, etc. It can be any book, magazine, movie but it cant go over the limit. That way i dont get overwhelmed. :001_smile:
