  1. Oh, I just love these little guys! Thanks for the links.
  2. When I finally decided to homeschool my kids, they were in ps k & 1, I had to do a lot of research. I found this site to be extremely helpful http://homeschooling.gomilpitas.com/index.htm. I spend three months doing research on this site alone. It has links to almost every conceivable teaching/learning style you can think of. Homeschooling -best decision I ever made.
  3. I second the Homeschoolclassified.com site. You can also post your wanted list. I have acquired many of the books that I needed that way.
  4. For anyone who wants help and direction in the area of decluttering; here is a great resource: "It's All Too Much: An Easy Plan for Living a Richer Life with Less Stuff" by Peter Walsh. I have read it and passed it one to some friends who are wanting to declutter. We have gone through the decluttering process over this last year, because we were planning on living in an RV fulltime. That plan changed but we still continue with a decluttered house philosophy. I have never felt so free and light as I do now. We do move around alot, so have very little stuff is great.
  5. I have had to opposite problem. I can read fine up close, it's those darn road signs I have trouble reading. I do most of the driving in our family, so I always have to ask "What does that sign say?" if I don't know exactly where I am going. I have glasses, but I made the mistake of getting 'progressive' lenses. Don't ever get those, they will drive you crazy. So, needless to say, I don't wear them. Money well spent, lol.
  6. We are a Spongebob fan club here. One year, DH and DC's all had Spongebob pjs. We have several DVD's that we watch over and over. What's not to like?
