  1. How about putting a couple of lamps inside on timers? Have them go on and off at different times (overlap their "on" time so it appears you moved from one part of the house to another). Have one come on in a front room in the middle of the night.
  2. Mostly C--assign tasks each time as we're preparing to go out. We don't walk out the door until we're all ready. I often get them going quite a bit before it's time to walk out the door. So I can be on the forums or playing a game online while I instruct them to do certain things--get your shoes on, brush your teeth, get a jacket, get a water bottle, etc... It can be done sort of leisurely at times. At other times, there's a bit of panicked yelling going on while I rush around trying to get us all ready. We still all leave at the same time.
  3. It could be, if it's written in the menu, just as the price of food in the menu is basically a contract. If they wanted to take the customer to civil court but don't have a name or address (they'd get name only if the customer paid by credit card, and no name if paying by cash), they may need the cops' involvement. But menu prices (and mandatory gratuity when written in the menu) are not formal contract matters, just as prices on clothing in a clothing store are not contract matters. So it would be criminal court that should be involved if it were a matter of theft, not civil court. ETA: I'm basically contradicting myself in this post. Sorry :tongue_smilie:
  4. Penn Station East Coast Subs uses peanut oil also. (We're not east coast but have them here in OH.)
  5. We stayed in a motel inside the park (within view of Old Faithful and a short walk from the lodge) 2 weeks before the fires in 1988. I believe the motel we stayed in burned down (?). ETA: from what I read here, the fires were more than just a day, which is what I always thought--I was between 7th & 8th grade when we were there. I always "heard" from my parents that we were there 2 weeks prior to the fire(s). Maybe it was 2 weeks before the "worst day," Aug. 20, 1988.
  6. Dh does math on the computer for a living. He said, "Equations in math have always been in italics since the printing press was invented." Maybe that'll help?
  7. The popover pan looks like it has straight sides, and it has a larger diameter (2.5") than the other straight-side-look muffin pans I've seen (2").
  8. We always tip on our credit card. I wouldn't go by just seeing money put down on the table.
  9. Do you mean that the italics within the equation bothers him, or does he do other writing between equations that he has to turn the italics off for each time?
  10. I don't know if this one has the type of pan you're looking for, but it's a brick & mortar store near me with a website (and it's mentioned in a Wilton book I have). It's Sugarcraft.
  11. I realized that after I posted. I also realized I was comparing my family of 4's income to her family of 15's income. I changed my post.
  12. For the unsafe structure (swingset/fort), it would have started as safe, and gradually deteriorated. How do you pinpoint when exactly it became unsafe? For the cracks in the wall, the same as above applies. Starts with no cracks; cracks gradually develop. For both, I see no reason not to contact the agency and ask for details, or let them know the problems have been rectified, and request a new evaluation & reinstatement/non-cancellation of the policy. Neither of these are things that the homeowner just plunked down onto their property.
  13. I don't remember for sure, but isn't there a more involved CAT test than the CAT survey?
  14. Together with dh I would choose pictures that included the wife and kids, print them on fabric, take the quilt apart, redo it and not say anything about it to mil.
