  1. Ditto, this all sounds so,painful! I’m so sorry. I can recommend a CBD product. Trim Healthy Mama has a product called Hemp and Blue in 2 forms. One is a cream and the other is a balm. The cream is faster acting but doesn’t last as long. The balm works more slowly, but lasts longer, so it’s great for over night. My husband has very severe arthritis in his neck. When it flares, he uses the cream and is much relieved in a short period of time. We have been using this stuff for several years and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Shipping is pretty fast. If Yiu have never heard of them, Do some reading on their website. They have an amazing company. https://store.trimhealthymama.com/product/hemp-blue-cream/ https://store.trimhealthymama.com/product/hemp-blue-balm/ https://store.trimhealthymama.com/product/hemp-blue-cbd-isolate-balm-and-cream-2oz-bundle/
  2. You could do lots of small ones… fill a coffee mug fill a mc Donald’s French fry box with rolled up dollar bills. Do any of them need new ski gloves? Backpack, suitcase, etc. I think it would be fun if they could just keep finding cash in every gift they open..
  3. Lots of cute ideas on Pinterest.
  4. We have black everywhere in our house. I love the look. We did have to put in a water softener . Other than that, they are easy to keep clean.
  5. We do not give anniversary gifts. Due to the size of our family, Had to draw the line somewhere and anniversary gifts didn’t make the list. We do acknowledge it and have done many an anniversary babysitting evenings and overnighters.
  6. I just have to say, I’m sorry for being a downer on Dawn’s happy thread! I truly hope you had a great day unpacking all those treasures and finding a new spot for them!
  7. Thank you! Your link didn’t work but I found a sleeve that should work.
  8. Oh my goodness , yes! So stupid.
  9. We have had this situation at two different homes. Eventually DH did call the police, both times the neighbors didn’t necessarily know who called.. At the last house, we put up with it during the day, but at night, no one could sleep, houses too close together. 1 st time we approached them they apologized, 2nd time they apologized, 3rd time we called the police. Police drove up and I was waiting for him on the front step..(Dh was trying to sleeep)… Police told me that no one should have to put up with that noise. He went over and put the dogs in the house (neighbors weren’t home ) and left his card. Neighbors never got over it… Another neighbor called the police months later and there were sure it was us, even tho we were on vacation … The kicker was, that neighbor had a pool shed in his back yard and one summer he was trying to start a business, working in that shed . Their neighbor on the other side had a little tea cup poodle that would run the fence and bark at him….he told those owners later the next summer how annoyed he was at their dog barking at him and he kept his hose ready and sprayed the dog every time it got near him. Yeah, didn’t miss them when they moved.. Call and ask…your sanity should not not have to deal with this. I’m sorry..it’s just difficult..
  10. Fun game we did last year Christmas. My son printed 4 of these rockets in 4 different colors. Then mixed up the pieces and put them back together so each racket was unique, like the one in the photos. 4 “volunteers” took them apart and put them back together while being timed. The shortest time was 45 mins!
  11. My son is now on his 3rd one. His kids are now creating with it. 10 year old asked me what he could make for me…I told him I needed something for my sewing room to hold my tv and Roku remotes. He spent hours getting it correct, but he is learned how to use calipers and write the program. I also have a thread catcher for my serger and bobbin holders for my thread spools. They are crating home dec items, like Christmas trees for their bookshelves. Adorable . My son 3D printed an entire Catan game and DIL painted them. Time consuming, but fun to play. I can’t remember the items they have made, chip clips, paper towel holders, clips for storm windows, for starters. They made my Dh a fitting for inside his bicycle brakes. There are several websites , this is one of them. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwiTwLbIoPuCAxVyAHkGHXWLDzoQFnoECBIQAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.thingiverse.com%2F&usg=AOvVaw0DgCE8UIqwFB_fx63M7hTX&opi=89978449
  12. No, I never did. Never will. I do have a friend who collected Christmas sweaters over the 90’s and early 2000. She wore a new one each day to work in December. She still loves them and is very hurt that people now call them ugly sweaters. She wears them occasionally..
  13. My dad did that for my youngest brother when he was that age. So much fun for him!
  14. I’m sorry you’re without an oven! Do you have a waffle iron ? I used to have a recipe for chocolate cookies that were made in the WI and later frosted them. They were called Turtle Cookies I think. PP suggestions are good. I have a counter top toaster/convection oven that I use daily. I Made brownies in it last night. There are lots of no bake kind of treats you can make.
  15. Wrapped gifts today! We have 2 gift cards to add to 2 gift bags…Something for my Mom…otherwise done.
  16. There are lots of recipes for 7 can soup on Pinterest. Pioneer Woman’s had chili with meat in it. 7 can taco soup has shredded chicken in it. I haven’t made one in years, but I’m sure you could find one that suits your tastes.
  17. There is some current thoughts that if you cook potatoes and then cool then, you are lowering the carb count in them. So consider making your mashed potatoes ahead of time and reheating in them oven. (I do it every year for Thanksgiving.) I have cooked parsnips and mashed them with potatoes. I wouldn’t use too many, they are a stronger flavor. I liked them just fine..can’t remember how my family reacted.
  18. Turkey burgers made with sweet potato and spinach. I serve it bunless with coleslaw or kale salad.…
  19. Did your lease mention a washer dryer in thr unit? It would the. Be his responsibility to maintain them. If he won’t, then I would ask the landlord to remove the unit . I would hope you could sell your w/d and get a unit to fit. That looks like a one piece unit. They can be speedy. Sorry.
  20. Maybe you could find a thrift store and pick up a white plate, Corelle or just a couple of anything solid white to see the color white on your tablecloths.
  21. I have had Corelle for my entire married life…48 years. I received the winter frost as a wedding gift. Eventually, I gave that set my DD when she moved out to go to college, and I moved onto the scalloped edge white dishes. I do love color and many of my serving bowls are colorful. I also like using cloth napkins, and I have a huge drawer full of colorful napkins. Yes, we’ve broken a few over the years, but after the first one, we learned how to clean up very carefully. No tears over broken dinnerware. Easily replaced. They fit well in any of my dishwashers…larger ceramic kind of dishes don’t always fit well. I love how many I can stack in a small space in my cupboard. We just served 18 people for thanksgiving, and the plates were all in one small shelf. My hands have never been strong, so I’ve never wanted heavy dishes. 3 of my 4 kids households have either used them in the past, ( moved into something more colorful) or are still using them in their homes today.
  22. Interesting story…daughter of a friend of mine bought a house last year. The previous owner left a box of Christmas decor in the attic. When she dug into the box this week, she found a $100.00 GC to Kohls!
