  1. My 12 year old dd wants to be a librarian in a grade school. Anyone know what that schooling process would look like?
  2. Maybe I'm feeling salty today but why wouldn't you just go to the store and purchase that plant? I'm very willing to give my extra plants to friends, and trade plants at the local coffee shop,(they have a monthly plant exchange event) but would feel a bit put off if a stranger came up and asked for one.
  3. We wear our glasses all day. We use a strap if needed. I went to water parks as a kid and went in without my glasses and never enjoyed the day as much as I do now with them. For some of the slides they required me to take them off and hold them in my hand.
  4. Always in the frig. If we need it spreadable I'll take it out an hour or so ahead of time, or nuke it.
  5. :grouphug: I've eaten 4 pieces of rhubarb cake tonight. It has been a very long week.
  6. :grouphug: to us all. I was already on the verge of tears in the am remembering my loss, then in church a prayer was for a young couple that just had a miscarriage. I lost it then. Then the day was all about my MIL and that brought angry tears. Then trying my best to ignore the fact that I have a mother but she is not in my life right now, I miss what should/could have been. Yep, weepy all day.
  7. I too have never heard of such a thing! Our tracks are so bent out of shape the door keeps falling off, so we were needing to look into something anyway. Thanks!
  8. When they were little, yes all the time. And I encouraged running and using the scooter. We have a nice area to do a big circle through 3 rooms. We've even set up a slide in the living room. I grew up rollerskating in my basement. Of course I told them not to at other houses.
  9. Walmart has a pretty good selection of workout capri/pants.
  10. I love it! It would totally fit in my house, we have stuff from every decade.
  11. I weigh myself at the gym MWF to keep myself on track.
  12. I just need to get it out then maybe I can focus and get something done. I have overwhelmed paralysis. -kitten injured his hip and may require $2000 surgery that I can't afford, so we are doing confined rest for him to see how things maybe heal----he is 7mo old and requires tons of attention, he is being a major pain -dh took on a new position at church and it is majorly cutting into home time (he is a classic workaholic) -MIL cancer and doesn't want to treat it -I majorly messed up on the date for financial help for school next year. I thought the deadline was April first and was so proud of myself for starting the process early yesterday, only to find out the deadline was Mar 1. -braces for my girls and all the running around and rescheduling because of vacations for the staff -dd 8th grade is having issues in school being disrespectful to teachers, and I can't figure out why, as she has been so much better at home lately -work, I clean at a factory and the men decided to have a soap fight in the locker room. I cleaned soap off of the walls for hours last night -I'm not sleeping well -I haven't been to the gym in a week because of a cold or something that is zapping all my energy and that is the one thing that helps me cope with stress. -I can't go to my class this morning because I'm afraid I'll burst into tears any moment now I just want to run away.
  13. My girls like Twenty One Pilots. Stressed Out is in the top 10 every night.
