  1. Probably enlisting, I have no idea, this is all new to me. Everything seems foreign & it's just come up recently. I think long term down the road he's talked police force, so maybe military police? I don't know. He recently mentioned the Navy as well.
  2. We've heard it's good to start getting college credit before joining the military. Any suggestions on doing community college or online recommendations?
  3. Btdt, I had a dissection in 2012 (no plaque or cholesterol) but if you EVER feel like you are having chest pain, NEVER wait, get to the hospital!
  4. This is close to where we live, they've upped the reward money, lots of clues, but nothing yet. If you have not seen this yet, please take a moment to view it. It happened in Delphi, Indiana on Feb. 13th. http://wlfi.com/2017/03/01/former-colt-pat-mcafee-jim-irsay-boost-reward-for-delphi-double-homicide-to-200k/
  5. Ok, after doing some research, I really should have said "double sided" and yes, it appears some places still carry them. Thanks everyone.
  6. We need a new mattress, DH INSISTS it's flipable, no budging on this. Is it possible to still find one?
  7. Filed, got state back, small return Tomorrow federal is supposed to be deposited, decent return, part will go into savings and part towards Disney Tickets, a little bit will go to DD because it's extra we got back from her being in College and she paid for her own books & classes, so it's only fair.
  8. I mainly buy black panties & bras & do have a few beige of both if I wear light colora. Dh prefers they match, he hates the funky colors in packages.
  9. My dh has never been a workaholic, thankfully after many years of struggling self employment, he does have a full time job that he likes, we have retirement and decent healthcare and he works 37 1/2 hours a week(all county employees do here), he leaves at 7:30 & gets home at 5p.m. He has two weeks vacation and paid holidays (totally 13-14 a year) Having money in the bank every two weeks is SO NICE, we don't live a lavish lifestyle and make less than most people, but we have time to just relax and not feel rushed and busy. I hope those of you that work so much have a bank account to show it. I do work part time, but my job is flexible and I work when I want on the scheduled days (about 10-12 hours a week) it's enough to have some extra spending money and we made more this past year than we've ever made in our married life) Not quite what I pictured, but thankful for what we do have.
  10. The drones were not live, or so someone said on FB. I don't have the link.
  11. I saw this on FB earlier. http://www.faithfamilyamerica.com/warning_parents_lada_gaga_gives_eyebrow_raising_hint_at_her_superbowl_performance I thought it was one of the best shows. She had more clothes on than a few commercials, so if parents get upset, whatever!
  12. I guess this is one of those "never have I ever" things for me. I love having teens though.
  13. Nope! We actually all quit going to mid-week church activities just over a year now and are all much happier.
  14. Wellchecks free $35 co-pay The county also has a free clinic for it's employees & family, for simple illnesses, labs, etc we can go there. I can also get some prescriptions free there (Alegra & flonase are 2 for example) It does help to save, the county my dh works for self-insures, so it helps them save $$.
  15. Pulling a toilet is not hard, I've even done it, do a youtube search, save the money and do it yourself. Have a new wax ring on hand.
  16. We went on the Norwegian Epic to the Caribbean & I loved it even though I got sick. If you can get patches, get them beforehand. But dh would rather go to an all inclusive resort instead.
  17. Is there a reason those with heavier bleeding & constant flow just don't have a hysterectomy? if I had problems, I sure would. Life is to short to deal with flow that often. I'm thankful that I've not had issues. I know my mom had a hysterectomy at ~63.
  18. I so agree with this. My dh has always told dd that she needs to get married & have babies. She hates kids & isn't interested in dating at all. Dh & I met online & will celebrate 22 years this summer. It is possible!
  19. Thanks everyone, I think we've convinced them on MK. Thankfully we've been very blessed & my FIL used points & got us into Holiday Inn Resort Waterpark in Orlando. Has anyone stayed there? We're super excited.
  20. DH is all about Epcot that's the top place were going, he said when he went in high school they went there two days he was with a bunch of nerds. My kids are pretty nerdy so I'm praying that it works out. He absolutely said no to Universal, which is fine he's not into Harry Potter. I'm think you wouldn't joy Hollywood studios over animal kingdom. I'm going to encourage the park hopper, is there anyway to get tickets cheaper than through Walt Disney World. Or what's the best way to get tickets. Thanks
  21. I went as a kid, but we've not been as a family to Orlando. So first time for our kids.
  22. So originally we were thinking 1 day at Epcot, but fould out FIL has a timeshare & is going to see if he can get us in for 3 nights. 1st day we'll drive frim Spring Hill where in-laws are staying. That night Medieval Times. Wednesday probably Epcot, Thursday Hollywood Sudios?? Talked about Universal, dh is not interested. My kids are 15 1/2-19. LOVE Star Wars. No interest in Magic Kingdom. Is there enough to do for a full day at HS? Dh talked about 2 days at Epcot. Or would you get parkhopper passes? Friday we just want to relax at the resort. Suggestions. Thanks.
  23. Well I'm 42 & mine are still regular, if mine were not, I would definitely go to the doctor.
  24. Since we rarely have to order checks anymore, I just order them through the bank, it's so much easier.
