  1. Would something like this work? http://m.llbean.com/product.html?bc=&skCatId=73882#73882
  2. Oh, it takes Fluff, Fluff, Fluff To make a fluffernutter. Marshmallow Fluff And lots of peanut butter. First you spread, spread, spread Your bread with peanut butter. Add Marshmallow Fluff And have a fluffernutter. When you enjoy, joy, joy Your bread and peanut butter You're glad you have enough For another fluffernutter!
  3. It is pronounced Ginger. Because Duggar. She is the next youngest from Jessa.
  4. Just an FYI: You can stop a toilet that about to overflow. Remove the tank cover and manually push down the flapper to stop the flush. No more water will flow into the bowl to cause an overflow.
  5. Slight s/o: Is a SQ dryer also good? My 35+ yo Maytag is on its last legs. I want to replace both washer and dryer. My dryer is newer but takes a long time to dry (but that may be because the washer no long spins things very dry). A new set just sounds nice. Just Dh and I now so it will not get heavy use.
  6. Best. Burgers. In. The. World. http://www.fergburger.com/index.php
  7. Tell him they are all at the orthodontist.
  8. I don't understand all the angst about Facebook. It's a tool that many people find useful but others have no need for it. That's fine. Facebook doesn't "make" anyone do anything. One is neither weak for using Facebook nor virtuous for avoiding it.
  9. You are nicer than I am. If people want to take offense at polite but direct and concise speech, they will just have to be offended.
  10. I have canned peaches with a waterbath canner. Your available storage space may also influence your choice of method.
  11. This. And I assume at least some of them are treatment for an actual physical condition.
  12. I don't care about the lyrics one way or the other but I find calls for censorship offensive.
  13. This explains much of my lack of reaction. I was in my late 20s and in the midst of pregnancies/infant care. I call the 1980s my "lost decade" in regard to pop culture. Me too. I did recognize the name Prince and the title Purple Rain but no music or lyrics come to mind. Too much baby brain.
  14. I must get out my Royal Doulton with the hand painted periwinkles to celebrate!
  15. I had not heard of Belgravia but I was excited to hear that the BBC is making a prequel to Keeping Up Appearances. It will show the youth of Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced "Bouquet"). Anyone with me? http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/latestnews/2016/young-hyacinth
  16. This is my understanding. Also I thought because it is its own term and not an abbreviation it should be written without a period. Ms not Ms. But that does not seem to be common usage.
  17. We had one called "Dr. I.Q". You can see them if you google (can't link from phone). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. But after saying that, would you actually engage the other person in an interesting conversation? I don't mean make some mindless chit chat. If an interesting discussion is going on, I would be engaged, at least in active listening if not contributing. But too much small talk will cause me to zone out. I would probably not be constantly on the phone, but I would be absorbed in my own thoughts. As an introvert, I spend a lot of time in my own head. And it does not bother me. I don't mind occupying my own thoughts. But I would dislike being passive aggressively "chided" about not behaving as someone else thought sufficient.
  19. Once we were finished having children, I never had "baby fever". An occasional bit of nostalgia but in the main we were settled in our decision. I don't feel a need to have a "baby fix" by holding someone else's infant. Just not my thing. Also, when they got to college age, I was glad to see them move on with their lives. An empty nest is just fine with me (in fact, I prefer it).
