  1. No bar across the top saying Enable Editing. Will not allow me to Save or Save As (cuzI haven’t actually crested anything)
  2. I have had Powerpoint on my mac laptop for years. Additionally, at work, where we use all Microsoft products, I also have Powerpoint. Things can get weird sometimes when I want to do a private document at home not work-related, but I'm still logged into my work email. Usually I can figure out that I need to sign out. Fine. But today, I am trying to create a non-work related Powerpoint, and when I open a new document, it says "Read Only". This is brand new, just opened. Why would it be saying "Read Only"? It is preventing me from being able to create anything. So frustrating. I have logged out of my work email, and logged into Powerpoint with my personal email. Any ideas what's going on?
  3. Here’s a pic of the pants and shoes. I think they look awful together. The picture doesn’t make it look as bad as it really is.
  4. I did measure to make sure it was “square” before I put the binding on. Dh helped. He’s a meticulous woodworker and helped me make sure it was square. I was so determined to make it not wavy this time. 😭 I like this idea of stay-stitching. I’ve never heard that suggested before. Thanks.
  5. Here is the whole thing. Yes, you’re right that the border is not quilted, but I have another one that I hung and the border WAS quilted, and I had the same issue.
  6. I actually have a black blouse that I rarely wear because I feel it makes me look like a waiter. But maybe I’ll give it a try with the beige pants and a necklace. Thanks.
  7. These pants would be for work, so dressy shoes.
  8. I bought a pair of beige pants last year in beige thinking they were a nice neutral color so lots of things would go with them. I wasn’t thinking of shoes at the time I bought them. I am NOT a shoe person. I have one pair of beige-ish shoes. But they are not a close enough match so they look bad together. Black shoes contrast too much, I think. So the pants just hang in my closet, never worn. I think I just need to wear the pants shoe shopping. Or should I be matching the shoes to the top? Thoughts?

  10. I have not. But I might do that soon. I’m seeing videos on blocking and I think this might really help.
  11. I’ve been reading about blocking. Does anyone have experience with that?
  12. I finished my quilt today. Yay! I’m happy with how it looks for the most part. DH helped me hang it immediately. But oh the waviness! ☹️ How do I get rid of the waviness? There must be tricks. Should I start with ironing it? I know that won’t completely solve the problem. I’m attaching pics so you can see how bad the waviness is.
  13. Are you actually able to find it on Amazon? I am not.
  14. Do you use the Sensitive type of Native deodorant? (I'm leaning towards the sensitive rather than regular, but I want to be sure it's effective.)
  15. Thank you. That worked. Problem solved! 🙂
  16. I need to type an uncheck checkbox. Several of them actually. I’m using my mac. I’m trying to enter the boxes into a document on software that we use at work. It is not a Microsoft product so a lot of what I see online is not helping. I don’t want to copy and paste a picture of a box. There’s got to be a keyboard shortcut, right? But I can’t seem to find it. Any ideas for me?
  17. Well, I grew up in Philadelphia and there is/was lots of public transportation. I took SEPTA to high school every day. But yeah, you betcha, when I turned 16 I got my learner's permit. It's faster by car.
  18. For those of you that are suggesting apple cider vinegar, I have two questions. What do you use to apply it? I’m thinking a cotton round?? Also, won’t the vinegar sting? (Because of the rash, I mean)
  19. We are somewhat concerned with yeast as a possibility but not convinced. She does have some eczema issues especially around the eyes, so that’s my first suspicion. But if it doesn’t clear up soon, we’ll consider the yeast more seriously.
  20. She has not. I can suggest that.
  21. My 24 year old daughter is having an issue with deodorants. She can’t use regular Secret or Old Spice, etc. She gets a rash in her armpits. She used Vanicream for years, then eventually got a rash. Then switched to Clinique and got a rash after two weeks. She is now using nothing but fears she smells all the time. She would like to know what people use when they are afraid of chemicals. It’s not just the fragrance cuz Vanicream and Clinique have no fragrance. Any recommendations? ETA: this is the same daughter who has had some pretty significant skin issues including bouts with alopecia.
  22. Oh no. Now I have fear of missing out!
