  1. I'm leaning toward this, and considering using his pre-recorded lessons so she can go a bit faster than the syllabus if she wants to. Thank you!
  2. I'm a long time WTM reader, but not poster. 🙂 I need help deciding on chemistry for my rising 10th grader. I'm basically down to Clover Valley Chem or Dr. Wile's online honors chem class. She's taking Derek Owens' honors physics this year in 9th and doing well, but it's taking more time than anticipated and I'm not sure I want to overwhelm her next year with 2 difficult classes (she'll be doing Pre-Cal with Derek Owens, and I'm assuming that will be harder than her current Alg 2). I want her to have a little more free time than she does right now. I was all set to do CVC chem this year in 9th, but we decided to stick with Derek Owens since she's been taking his classes for a few years now and is used to his format. I'm not a huge fan of faith-based science, especially since she's headed towards some kind of engineering degree, but I've read a lot of good reviews of Berean Builders, and I don't mind their elementary science books. However this is a child who needs to be challenged or she's bored to death! She loves science and reads science journals for fun. I'm so torn!
