Well, I've finally reached veteran homeschooler status. I just bought a set of curricula that was already on my shelf. 😩

I start nursing school on February 1st. My first pair of scrubs arrived today. Size medium! And they weren't even tight!

I am hanging in there. Mourning the death of my oldest son. 

Guilty confession: I'm considering rewashing two items that I didn't hang soon enough, to avoid ironing. 

Two weeks to my oldest daughter's wedding.Two days until my first grandchild turns 9 months. About two months until the youngest graduates high school. And ten months since we got the news my oldest and only son died. I am a bundle of emotions.

We've only been on our "summer break" for a week now and dd13 is already begging to start school again. I need a break, People! lol

What a lovely way to wake up. DH screaming GS4's name because he can't find him in the house. Fortunately we found him in some cabinets before calling the police. Later today I think we'll be making sure he can

We finished the school year today. *kinda sad*. This was our best school year ever.

Breached my pre-pregnancy weight today! *happy dance* Baby just turned 8 months old.

My 14yo told me I sound mad in my texts to her. Apparently putting periods at the ends of my sentences makes me sound mad.

My "baby" turns 21 today - all adult "kids". Time sure flies. Hubby and I were reminiscing with Time in a Bottle ringing through our heads. We've had an awesome parenting time together. I just wish we could relive some of it...

My family doesn't need a calendar to know it's a holiday tomorrow. They can tell from the smell of the pies running over in the oven :)

Some businesses are rushing things just a bit, imo. We received our first holiday card today (from our Edward Jones agent), and Walgreens has their New Year party supplies out. Slow down, people!

I hate this about my native culture: people tell each other they are too fat, too ugly...Last night on the phone my middle school classmate told me his impression of me was outstanding student, very kind-hearted, not good-looking (ugly). Granted, I did ask him what impression he had of me first. It still stings. I know all along how people in my native country think of me. It stings to hear it. So very glad my American dh praises me beautiful every day and my Maker thinks I am beautiful!
