I was so excited to see Currclick extended their Mother's Day 70% off sale until tomorrow morning. The freebies are still available too. http://www.currclick.com/cclick_mothersdaysale.php A Journey Through Learning, Knowledge Box, Activity Bags, LLC., are some of the many sellers participating. A Journey Through Learning Apologia Lapbooks come out to only $4.50, they are regularly $25. Activity Bags, Preschool in the bag and other titles are only $4.50. Thought some of you might be interested. :)

Here is the link to the 70% off Currclick titles. http://www.currclick.com/cclick_mothersdaysale.php Remember to use coupon code mothersdaygift. There are a bunch of freebies linked right under the count down counter. A Journey Through Learning's Apologia lapbooks are only $4.50 after code. They have an artist one that was already on sale so it came to $1 something. Activity Bags has the Preschool Activities in a Bag on sale for $4.50 after code, as well as all their other titles. There is LOTS of great things.

I noticed that too but it has in-app purchases. I doubt you can get full access without the membership or making in app purchases.

I used the first link on this page: http://www.figur8.net/mothers-day-special-90-off-splash-math/ And went through signing up my daughter, it gave me a log in and password and then asked if I wanted a year or 5 year access. Above that it asked if I had a coupon code. MOM90 just worked for me about five minutes ago. Hopefully you'll have success today.

Thank you!

I love many of their lives classes. Back in February they were having some annoying technical glitches but it didn't stop me from buying upcoming classes. I adore Literature Lane's classes. Mrs. Redekop is a great teacher. Her classes are just jam packed. We have done her Robert Munsch class and Fractured Fairy Tale Class. We are signed up for her Author's Class and plan on doing her Summer Celebrations one as well. I was not impressed with the two 4 Little Penguins classes I tried. We did her Olympics class and Captivating Cats. I felt like it was a bunch of facts from the internet. Founders Academy history classes are really good. We have done several. There are some fun, free classes too such as The American Girl Club and Magic Tree House.

Weird. Mine doesn't ask me that. Do you live in the US? I read on the comments in the above link that the price is in the US. ETA: Here is the link directly to itunes maybe the SmartKids page is glitching? It does mention on itunes that there is also a free version that only includes one unit. Maybe try downloading directly from Itunes. It says on the Itunes page it is normally $49.99 and free today only. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/hooked-on-phonics-learn-to/id806401149?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo%3D4

NotebookingPages.com lifetime membership on sale
teeniebeenie6 replied to Ewe Mama's topic in K-8 Curriculum Board
The sale was suppose to end at midnight but I just checked out now with the two month payment plan and got the $50 price tag. I am pretty excited!! We were waiting for some returns to post to our bank account so I couldn't swing it yesterday. They posted this morning, so I rushed to see if the deal was still on. -
CurrClick - Vendor has everything marked down to 10 cents

I'm surprised this sale is still running! -
I personally love Amanda Bennett studies they are SO full of information and my kids love them. But they are mainly computer based so I can see why some people really dislike them. I love her booklists for each study.

I love homeschool bits' stuff! I plan on doing a ton of her studies this year. Thanks for sharing! -
I bought some more of their test prep products for next year. I have loved using the Scholastic Success with Reading Comprehension for Grades 1 and 2 this year.

So when did 3 become the new 5?
teeniebeenie6 replied to Susan in TX's topic in General Education Discussion Board
I started Kindergarten at 4 in the 80's. Many of my classmates had been in years of preschool and were much more academically advanced then me. I don't think this is a new issue. My kids learned their ABC's early and loved it. Don't see any harm in some relaxed early learning! -
SL, HOD, MFW for Disoganized Mom
teeniebeenie6 replied to SpicyPeanut's topic in K-8 Curriculum Board
I personally did not find MFW open and go. There was often a craft that needed specific items. I often found myself completely stuck because I had not looked far enough in advance and then had days that resolved around a certain craft. I don't drive so running out and getting things is not an option for me. The book basket is also huge and very expensive if you do not want to do many trips to the library. -
Who is still using Veritas Press Self Paced History?
teeniebeenie6 replied to a topic in K-8 Curriculum Board
Thank you so much for mentioning your thoughts on the New Testament one. I watched part of one of the samples and was appalled at the way the actors acted as brother in sister. Not something I want my kids imitating! I am interested in the Middle Ages one though. Has anyone used it? -
I received my LOF quickly but the shipment arrived with many damaged books. They were thrown in a box with no packing material. The box exploded open and USPS had to tape it all back together. I decided to just live with the dented up books. Returning and hoping for an exchange is a pain.
