  1. Me too. It loads quickly for me. I love her website. Many of her recipes have become a staple in my home.
  2. I did most of my cooking for the week last night. Monday through Thursday are crazy around here. I made a double batch of baked ziti, chili, and taco filling. Three nights are taken care of already and the other nights we are having calzones and salad, whole wheat couscous w/ tomatoes and garlic, and stir fry.
  3. I'm estranged from my sibling, but I would be considered the rich one, but you know how much we make Tara and how laughable that is.:) Eric's siblings all have advanced degrees and very good jobs. They look out for us and take care of us. We're working our way up still and I love their willingness to help us. I'm so happy to know what a real family is like. I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother and that your siblings don't understand your position.
  4. My 6 year old daughter weighs 52 pounds and is 52 inches tall. I think she's 95% for weight and 75% for height. She looks thinner though, she's a very solid girl.
  5. I love these ideas! I'm going to copy and paste it into my idea book. Thank you.
  6. My 6 year old is hardcore. Halloween is our favorite holiday and she is very excited about it this year.
  7. We've watched it 3 times already. I love all of the Charlie Brown holiday shows. My MIL bought me the boxed set for Christmas last year.:D
  8. My 6 yo has 5, we lost the tag to one so only 4 are registered online. We both play the online games. I love doing quizzy's corner. It's just a bunch of fun.
  9. I've been doing the same. I can't wait for it to be released so I can have my own copy to mark and post-it like crazy.
  10. My 6 yo is doing WWE1 and the first week she couldn't answer the questions or do the narration work. I would go back and read the part of the passage with the answer and then help her form a complete sentence for her answer. Now she is able to focus on the passage and to listen for content. She's really enjoying it now and is very good at making sure that she answers in complete sentences.
  11. This. I kept my last name but through the years his name has crept into use so it's more 50/50 now. Our kids have his last name. I do plan on changing it someday, probably when my DL expires.
  12. I bought B from the company. It came in a huge box and everything is loose and slides around. I'm afraid stuff will become damaged if I continue to use the box for storage, but I haven't yet found a better storage solution. And the book for games is sold separately.
  13. The book covers all 4 levels but does not have the reading or copy work passages pre-selected. From what I understand there are examples of the level of work appropriate for each level but it is on you to find the passages. The workbook is only good for each level. It has the instructions, passages and copywork selections all laid out for you. I chose to purchase only the workbook as I'm too lazy to find the passages on my own.
  14. Rainbow Resource has a lot of craft stuff and takes pp.:001_smile:
  15. That's a fabulous idea. My dd will be in 5th grade when my ds reaches 1st. That would be a great fit for us. Is there a thread about this idea somewhere?
  16. nm. I misunderstood what you were asking. I think anything over $600 annually is taxable income.
  17. We are on week 3 with my 6 year old dd. We're using only the workbook. It's all there for year 1 so we went with that. We both enjoy WWE and it only takes 10 minutes when I have her do the longer copywork sentence.
  18. We are doing FLL and WWE. I just omit the copywork from FLL and use it for the grammar portion. So you could pick and choose which you take the copywork lesson from.
  19. I couldn't ever get the hang of covering up. I wore target nursing tanks to cover my belly and pulled up my shirt. Nothing shows. If I really cared about the company I was around being bothered, which I believe was exactly one occasion, I would wear a jacket or light sweater to cover more.
  20. Me too. I was up at 5:30am and stayed up until 3am after watching with a fussy baby. So fun.:glare:
  21. Well I sort of started last month but we're taking a short break while I shake up the curriculum a bit. So my plan was to restart next Monday, but RR has rightstart math on backorder and when I called for and asked if they had any additional information they said, "no." So I guess I'm at their mercy unless I want to cancel and just order from the RS site. So yeah I feel stressed and unprepared.
  22. Your shelves are so organized. It looks like a great place to learn.:D Now I'm wondering if my area is too cluttered.
  23. I planned a homebirth with my second and she was going to stay and watch or hang around, but decided that she'd rather go to Grandma's house. Which worked out for the best as I transferred at the last minute. We had prepared her with gentle books and age appropriate video but as soon as the midwives came and it was 'real' she begged to go.
  24. It sounds as though they use PP as their credit card processor. You don't need an acct with PP to use a credit card at a business. A lot of small online businesses use PP as their CC processor because it's much cheaper than having a 'true' CC processing acct.
