I ordered a new bathing suit and when it arrived, it seemed soooo big. I thought for sure I’d have to return it for a smaller size, but no- it fit. Darn Covid-15.

I call my in-laws by their first name even though they offered for me to call them mom and dad. I feel calling them m/d would make dh my brother instead of my dh, so I’ve stuck with first names. My mil’s kids don’t even call her mom - they call her by a nickname to her name that only they use. I’ve invited my sil to call us by our first names - I introduced myself by first name when met - it’s hard to change the name you first call someone. We’ve only seen him twice since the wedding and I don’t think he’s called us anything at all. Maybe he’ll be like some of the don’t call them anything like previous posters. My dd had to refer to her in-laws as Miss first name and Mr first name until they got married and then they said she could drop the titles.

We were supposed to head there two weeks from tomorrow, but cancelled our plans after a Covid exposure. The stress was too much for me - not knowing if anyone of us were going to get sick (so far, seems not). When I was planning our vacation, everything that we wanted to do, seemed to be open.

Would you be interested in knowing if anyone knows if they were officially exposed to a positive person?

From what I read, the saltwater kind is hard on the pipes (maybe?), anyway, it’s hard on something, so until that’s resolved, saltwater in hot tubs hasn’t taken off.

Middle dd got braces this past Wed. The timing was planned back in December so she’ll be out of braces before she graduates from college. She goes every 6 weeks for adjustments. Their procedures for Covid seem reasonable and it is what it is.

What is a blower? I’m picturing a leaf blower. Tell me more about the wireless water detectors! The only reason this was discovered was because we had family over and the kids were playing hide and seek in the basement. Otherwise, it may have leaked and gone undetected for days.

One idea I have for you involves a little bit online is to find your area’s spirit fairy group. I think it’s pretty wide spread, so your area probably has a group. In case you aren’t familiar with the idea, you join the group, post your address and then you make up goodie bags and deliver them to whoever you decide. Other people do the same in the group to you. This might be a way for you to “meet” people. You could concentrate on your own neighborhood to start with to see if that gets anything going. The original purpose of the spirit fairy groups were to dink dong ditch alcoholic beverages, now it has evolved to fun goody bag type stuff, at least in my area.

Our furnace was leaking on Sunday. Dh and his brother thought the little pump needed replaced, so I picked up a new one yesterday. Dh put it on and the same thing happened. He figured we would have to call a plumber. I asked him to ask his dad to run over first to see if he could find anything else (ac and furnace were working fine, just leaking at the furnace). Fil comes over and pulls off the cap to the pipe that runs down to the pump and he can see it’s clogged. He asks the last time we cleaned it. Never in 14 years. He said that’s something you are supposed to check often when running your ac. We never knew. We cleaned out with baking soda, vinegar, and hot water. Tons of guck came out and then a gush of water that was blocked by the guck. Maybe this tip will help someone else!

I own the Creations which is the QVC version of the 5200. I just bought my dd and her new husband the 7500 (also from QVC because it came with the Aer) because it has the low profile container as the poster above mentioned. I don’t see a need for the more expensive versions with the preprogrammed options.

Then it’s difficult to sign back in.
