  1. Littlest was a little yellow. Because he was breastfed, it took him longer to flush it out. His levels were to low for him to be kept longer for jaundance. And the bench mark to be re-admitted due to jaundice is higher.
  2. I use 2 gallon zip loc bags. Big enough to hold the workbooks and accessories. I store them in a plastic milk crate. I slip a numbered index card to show which one to do next. DS is four, so he thinks its fun to go digging through the box for find the next bag.
  3. DS loves reward based games (angry birds), he's most played non learning game is one where he has to beat the level to unlock the next one and when he wins the entire game it resents back to nothing unlocked. He will play Starfall, but he doesn't like how he has access to all of it. Anyone have any recommendations?
  4. When I hang up mini-quilts, I get some binder clips and clipped them to the top of the quilt and hang them off 3m command hooks.
  5. this is exactly what i need. Could use it now, but November is close enough.
  6. My Matthew was Stillborn at 38 weeks. I'd recommend a simple craft project (crochet, knitting, tied fleece blanket) and the supplies to make it. I took up smocking and found much peace stitching each stitch. The things I made I donated to the hospital bereavement program. DH knows when I pull out smocking to work on what's on my mind and gives me space. We cremated him. His ashes are in a small heart urn that has his name birth date and "a moment in our hands, forever in our hearts" the urn came with a teddy bear that houses the urn and on the foot of he bear says forever in My heart. It's nice having the bear.
  7. October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Our second son, Matthew, was stillborn at 38 weeks. Six months later we had a miscarriage. I know there are a good many here who have had a loss and I think and pray for you today and every day.
  8. From Amazon Local: http://local.amazon.com/national/B009PBE2Y0 $2 wont go far but free is free. If you use it please share what you got with it, since I can't decided what to use mine on.
  9. I had a very high end stroller. I bought a upgraded version and sold the stroller to my SIL. I told her how much it would be new and what the going rates on CL was and let her decide what she thought was fair. She paid me the average CL rate which was how much I would have list it. However she came to us asking if we had a stroller we'd sell to her.
  10. I'm thinking about changing when the kids (1 and 4 years) get a shower. Since they've been born they been getting a bath before bed on the advice that the routine and such will help wind them down. Instead it seems, bath time makes them wide awake. I was musing right when they wake up, but DH mentioned it might be better to give them a bath after breakfast instead. When do your kids get a bath?
  11. I started crocheting again and oldest DS who is four asked if I would teach him. I'm debating if crochet is the way to go or if I should look into one of the knitting peg things or perhaps one of those potholder loop looms or perhaps get plastic canvas and yarn needle and teach him cross stitch or needle point. I'd like to show him how to do all of them, but which one first?
  12. Perhaps you are thinking of http://feedjit.com/ ?
  13. Our eldest was born a year after his cousins. They were given the advice to year face till one year, and they lasted time 9 months. By the time DS was a year they had bumped the advice to two years. We went what felt right for us, and for him we turned him around 18 months. Our youngest is a little over a year, and we have no set plans on when we will turn him around. I think its a personal thing. Each child and parent is different.
