    Well there goes almost a year of college. Toyota sienna bought exactly 5 yrs ago this weekend. $2500-5000 to fix cracked timing case and broken rod. One year off any warranty. So how's your day going?

      I'm hoping it's closer to the best case scenario. He didn't sound too hopeful though. Ds is off to college in just over 2 years- I think it's time for him to get a job, because this car was supposed to last me until they were all finished!

      we had a "front" come in about 5, and it dropped to 86! I don't like the heat. I much prefer colder temps.

      That is one great drawback of homeschool. I miss being able to go to the store in the morning before the crowds invaded. Sigh. I don't want to go the store either!

    Grade 8 is going very well! He's 2 wks in, and while we have had a couple of late night homework sessions, becuase of putting things off, he's doing so much better at organization and being responsible! He actually hugged me this week and said "Thank you for teaching me math!" And he told me I was a good math teacher! LOL He is starting to appreciate me and what we did here. He loves it though. It was the right decision for him! Glad to hear things are going well w/ you too!
