  1. Just to clarify, you buy the clothing ideas, not the actual clothing itself. You either shop your closet first, or shop with the links she provides, or do your own shopping from the clothing list she gives you.
  2. I’m going to try this with my girls this Fall. This is the capsule wardrobe for last year. https://getyourprettyon.com/product/fall-2017-girls-back-to-school-capsule-wardrobe/ I bought the spring one this year and I loved it. I was in such a rut. It was nice to have someone else tell me what to buy and how to put together different outfit ideas with the clothing.
  3. Tapping has saved me! I used to suffer from panic attacks and everyday anxiety and tapping helps to get rid of it. I love anything by Nick Ortner or his sister, Jessica, from The Tapping Solution. I just bought their most recent book for tapping with children. I thought I would teach my children tapping as a proactive strategy in dealing with stress or worry.
  4. Congratulations! I just downloaded it. I use EFT often. I just used it yesterday for anxiety. I just told my dh yesterday thank goodness I found tapping. I’m not sure where I would be without it. I probably would have needed meds for my anxiety/panic attacks if I hadn’t found it.
  5. https://www.amazon.com/Healthy-Gut-Flat-Stomach-Low-FODMAP/dp/1581574142/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1513046914&sr=8-2&keywords=Fodmap https://www.amazon.com/Complete-Low-FODMAP-Diet-Revolutionary-Digestive/dp/1615190805/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1513046914&sr=8-1&keywords=Fodmap I started the diet on May 1 and finished mid-July. Prior to the diet I had a colonoscopy, endoscopy, breath test, gastric emptying study and ultrasound. I had pain, bloating, cramping and nausea. These episodes happened several times a week but I had no idea why. My doc recommended the fodmap diet and it was a total life changer. I wish I had tried it a year earlier. I didn't find it to be hard at all. I loved feeling great. I saw results literally the first day. My triggers are lactose, garlic and onions. The first link I shared was an amazing book that made this weird diet easy to follow. Good luck!
  6. I follow Diane in Denmark and Flylady Kat on YouTube. They both post daily flylady tips.
  7. It's not an app, but a podcast: Adrian Cooke-10-minute meditations. I listen to one everyday. I love them.
  8. Long story short, HB was my life a year ago. So.Much.Pain. Bought the book, "Dropping Acid" by Jamie Koufman (and her other one), and it changed my life. I followed the diet for 2-weeks and all of my heartburn went away (this was after I took Prilosec for 2 weeks 2 months earlier and it made my problem worse!). I was eating tons of fruit at this time and of course all of the fruits I was eating was causing my hb. Now a year later, totally heartburn free. I'm on a low FODMAP diet for other digestive issues and that is working tremendously too.

    Struggling

This was me yesterday. My anxiety was so bad and I don't know why. I let the kids eat Easter candy and watch movies all day (I gave them healthy foods too, I promise). I meditated all day.
  10. My doctor recommended a low FODMAPS diet. I'm starting May 1.
  11. Look up Kris Carr. I think she does the low acid alkaline diet. I think. She has had liver cancer for 10 years and is doing very well.
  12. I just bought this online cooking class for my 3 kids (ages 5, 7, and 9). Haven't used it yet, but it looks promising. There are classes geared for teens too. https://kidscookrealfood.com/cyber-monday-2016/
  13. I recently bought it at a discount (maybe 70 vs 90?) I use it everyday. I find myself now "noting" when I'm anxious and I'm more aware of "present moment" since using it. It helps that I use it everyday which solidifies those lessons. I'll be honest, I wouldn't have bought it at the original price, so I'm glad they had the discount. From what I remember, it will renew in one year at the discounted price too. I found out about the discount through an email so make sure you sign up for emails. With the holidys coming, maybe they'll have another offer.
  14. I listen to the podcast 10-Minute Meditations by Adrian Cooke. I absolutely love them. I just purchased the Head Space app. I used the free trial, but they were having a sale so I purchased it for a year. So far so good. A couple of times a year Oprah and Deepak Chopra have a 21-day free meditation series. I have purchased a few of those.
  15. I think you are literally talking about my town. I go to that Target 3 times a week (but not for groceries) but I shop mainly at TJ, never been to the Sprouts and go to Costco twice a month. Our Safeway is so huge that I rarely shop there.
  16. So far just 8 weeks of a Spanish Immersion Camp. I haven't thought about "school" stuff yet.
  17. How do you like Song School Spanish? It's on my wish list.
  18. Love!!!! Bruges!!!! Beautiful. Lots of lace and chocolate. Would love to go back.
  19. I've seen this several times (girls 6 and 5) and I didn't even recognize Daisy until you said something.
  20. Anyone taking her free online course? https://www.canvas.net/courses/laura-ingalls-wilder eta: my link seems like it may not work
