The big news here: We're going back to homeschooling next year! Yippee!!!

Getting to know the boards again. It has been awhile. :)

I was so proud of myself. I almost made it through February without a melt down. And then today happened.

icy roads. Husband out of town. Daughter just hits an ice patch and another car.

Said goodbye to our kitty, Marshmallow, of 17 years. She died peacefully in my arms. She was a special kitty - born Easter Sunday morning, a pure white kitten to a pure black momma cat.

Trying to Climbing Parnassus while my teens are playing Just Dance 4. Impossible combination. Lol!

DH has destroyed two cars in three weeks. Mad is not the word I would use to describe me right now. Our nearest store/ town is an hour drive away with no public transport.

First night home and dumb enough to fall asleep in the recliner. Ouch. All over ouch. Still better than the previous 6 days at the hospital.

50,000 words!! Woot!

Ugh. Morning sickness. All day. Blech.

Home, with electricity

Van broken, house payment late, hospital bills, birthdays coming, Christmas coming...no money to pay it all...oy enough already!

A ferret joined our family today. At least DD12 is thrilled about it. Me...not so much.

The apocalypse is upon us-- I found myself agreeing with someone on the chat board I had blocked months ago!

"But where are Ma and Pa going to be?" My three-year-old, upon being, informed that we are almost done with LHOTP and will be putting the series aside for now. I assured him they would still be safe in the books until we got back.

Momma doesn't want to do school today.

If I wasn't reading Dracula on my Kindle I would be seriously tempted to toss it across the room and then go jump on it.

My head itches. On day three of the Lice Program. I hope this works!

It's DH's first night with a CPAP. My first thought when I saw him with the mask on: "Are you my Mummy?"

Doing a tad better. Maybe it is because we passed the point of no return (literally).

It's been a long time. I feel like a stranger :p

DD10 is now an hour late getting home. You know how it's probably nothing, but you can't help but fight back the panic? Grandma is out looking while I'm stuck here with the other kids...

11yo daughter now has ten stitches in her shin. Three on the inside and seven outer stitches. We'll count it as the first field trip of the school year. Lol! She was a trooper.
