I'm conservative and so are several of my friends. The general feeling in this group is sorrow for the situation and compassion for all involved. I don't see how being liberal or conservative would play into this.

I usually rotate between three breakfasts: eggs/bacon/sauteed mushrooms/tea, cinnamon/vanilla MIM/tea, or protein bar/tea. I see so many wonderful breakfasts listed here but if I ate those carbs first thing in the morning I'd be sound asleep an hour later with carb cravings all day :glare:

Good memories-I was born in the '50's so used them a lot!!

DDs are well past that stage but it's one of their favorite memories that they mentioned ever so often. For a few years I ran a Keepers of the Faith girls group that met every other Friday afternoon. It always seemed to turn into a sleepover with anywhere from 1-4 girls spending the night with my dds. DH said he was always careful when going in to kiss them good night because he didn't know who was sleeping on the floor! Most of the time they took over the livingroom with air mattresses/sleeping bags/couch cushions on the floor. I just always made sure that the next day was a quiet day at home. Also, in order to spend the night, everything had to be straightened up and put away in the morning when they got up. Lots of fun memories!!

All I have to add to the above suggestions is that I work at our library, at the circulation desk, and it is one of the dirtiest jobs I've ever had! (and I grew up on a farm!)

elvesandgiants thanks for the link! Think I'll order her some as a surprise. PrincessMommy-DD said the same thing about the soft drinks. I don't think she's had over 4 or 5 soft drinks in her life but she said she was drinking it over there because all the water was carbonated.

Could I order the type of Nutella that she got in Europe? She really misses it! Of course, when she was there, she really missed peanut butter and I had to regularly mail it to her!

she had in Europe-mostly Germany- is different that what's available here. Can't remember what she said the difference was now-anyone else notice this?
