  1. :grouphug: :grouphug: They're a big jerk! So sorry for your loss. :grouphug: :grouphug:
  2. This happened to a friend of mine. She was in her boyfriends dorm room. They were fooling around with no clothes on. She didn't intend to "go all the way" but it happened. She told me several years later after she had broken up with him. As far as I know she never told anyone else.
  3. I have not used a tether with any of my kids. I did have one that was a runner so I just held her hand at all times. I think she would have figured out how to get out of a tether anyway. She still wanders away from us now. I have seen the backpack tethers fairly recently (within the past year).
  4. I had something similar years ago. Went to a cardiologist. Had a 24 hour heart monitor. Had to press a button every time I felt one. When I went back to turn the monitor in, the nurse said that the time hadn't been set (by their office) so the results couldn't be used. :cursing: Nothing ever came of it.
  5. That's really rude. My reaction would depend upon who was the hostess and my attitude that day. On one hand it's flattering that they enjoyed your dish so much at a previous occasion. On the other it's rude that they only give you one day notice after you told them you'd bring something else weeks before. I don't always have the ingredients I need on hand so I may or may not be able to make a specific dish. Also, I may or may not feel like/have the time/have the money to get the ingredients needed for the requested dish. I'm thinking that I'd decline the requested dish and bring what I was planning. I may or may not go depending on how the host made me feel after graciously declining to bring the requested dish. :leaving:
  6. I voted other. I'd probably start laughing. It wouldn't change my going to the class. I'm sure everyone has passed gas when moving in some of those positions.
  7. I agree with Quill. Get her a gift card to Amazon or a restaurant that she eats at regularly.
  8. They may not be in session on Friday. Check their website to see if it has that info.
  9. My DS just got a summer job at the karate studio. She just said that he needs to give her two weeks notice of any time off. We already know our vacation schedule for the summer so I had him email her all the dates that he needs off. He's not doing the camps though.
  10. I would think that it could be a problem. Anything premade has the potential to have the bacteria in it. It all depends on the cleanliness of the facility. Listeria thrives in cold and heat will kill it.
  11. :grouphug: Good luck. My IL's usually only stay 2-3 days and we're all ready to kill each other by the end of day 2.
  12. I use anywho reverse lookup. If I can't find it that way I will just google search the whole number.
  13. I've only had that happen once. I have three Aldi's that are fairly close to me. The one time they were really low on produce it was about 30 min before closing. One of the workers was cleaning the floors with the industrial mop/vacuum thing.
  14. For me there's enough veg in there to not do another on the side, unless you have picky eaters. On the side for this I'd do couscous or quinoa.
  15. The first mistake was the judge allowing the trial to be televised. The defense made the prosecution look like idiots. The two prosecution lawyers. Clark & Darden, hated each other. Cochran goaded them into having Simpson try on that glove. I never realized how good an actor he was. It was ridiculous! I was working so only watched the highlights on Court TV at night.
  16. I'll be in big trouble if my high school transcripts are needed since my class was the last graduating class. The school merged with another school so maybe the records would be there.
  17. Glad that your trip was good. There are always things that you would do differently next time. My problem is remembering for the next time.
