We're about 50-50 of people who bring a book vs those who use the app on their phone. I prefer the app since it's quicker to look something up and I already have my phone so I don't have to remember to grab another bag.

I have always pronounced this word one way. Recently, I've heard it pronounced a different way. Am I wrong or is there more than 1 way to pronounce this word?

Naw, I'm fine. I've only ever met my nephews once and that was only the three of them at that time. They are my half-sister's kids and we rarely communicate (obviously). I don't even have her current address. If I interacted with them I would remember their names.

I have kids but I don't like other people's kids. I do ask about my friend's kids though. I try to remember which kids do different activities. I just wish I could remember the names of my 4 nephews.

I think the 12 is a typo. It probably was meant to be 1-2 hrs. If this is an old recipe I wouldn't use the 10 hrs either. Newer models of slow cookers cook hotter so take less time.

My kitchen (not designed or laid out by me) has a double island. There's room for it and I love the storage but it's a bit much. I like to say my kitchen is stupid big.

When we lived in the house with a gate the delivery drivers would put the packages on the pillar. We had a wood fence with brick pillars that the gate connected to. My only problem with that is my height made it difficult to reach. ?

I thought it would be fun to take the kids roller skating yesterday. Everything was fine until I fell. I broke my right arm (Colles fracture). Got a splint at the ER along with a Rx for percocet. Was able to get an apt with ortho for today as the splint is making my thumb numb. I think crying on the phone helped. Pain level is still high even with the drugs. Having so much fun doing everything left handed and thst wrist hurts too. Will take all the positive thoughts and prayers that y'all send my way. Update: The fracture is displaced so I need surgery and a plate put in. Surgery is tomorrow afternoon. I had to scramble to get a pre-op exam since I didn't have a primary care doc. The place I went to today was very nice and will now be my choice for any doc visits. Passed my EKG and hoping that the blood work is good. Had a friend bring us dinner yesterday and have 2 more meals in the fridge that were brought over. Thanks for all the previous replies and appreciate good vibes & prayers.
