hey girls! =) Thanks for all of your imput! I was being a BIT dramatic about the 8 hours... He keeps talking about at least 5 hours. He's not very supportive of it at all! Extremely traditional.

I wasn't sure what would be an appropriate time allotment. My FIL who hates the idea of me HSing... Keeps asking me how long are our schools days. It's REALLY bugging me. My son puts in a lot of time each day. He thinks it should be 8 hours like that of a class of 30.

Everything we are doing seems to take about 4 hours. 2 of those hours are book work. I am trying to figure out how to work in all the book work without mentally exhausting him. :confused: Help! I would greatly appreciate it! He is doing great so far! He hasn't mentioned being tired, but I'm his mama so I just know.

I live in indian trail NC! It's less than 20 mins from charlotte! What part of Clt? I lived in the downtown area for 7 years ( I didn't hs at that time though)... I think it was well meaning.. Just ignorant. I wouldn't fault her too much, because she doesn't get it.

My SIL ordered the copy we are sharing (it's for two comps) off Ebay. When I went to install it on my comp it asked me for a key. There isn't one?! Not in the paperwork, or on the box?! What do I do?!

Ethan was a weird kid... He didn't actually potty train until late 3 early 4. He did however, "practice" by wiping his clean bottom and flushing for a solid year. I let him do this willingly. I thought to myself, what is it going to hurt?

If I knew my son couldn't handle himself in public like a big kid.. I wouldn't take him. That's it. If you have to take him... Give him his quarters first... If he loses something he's never had, he has no concept of what he's missing. Give him the quarters to hold until the end of the trip. When he starts to act up ask him does he still have his money. Share with him you would really hate for him to lose them for acting ugly. That's all I got. =D Good luck with your fella.. I know he's got it in him to do the right thing!

I would agree with you on this if he were older (6yo have no idea WHAT the words they say even mean) and didn't other issues.

My sis in-law and I are sharing the Version 3 levels 1-5 in Latin American Spanish....I will update our progress! I don't think the program is the final decision on how well the person learns a language. I think it also takes a motivated person to learn something new. =)
