hey girls! =) Thanks for all of your imput! I was being a BIT dramatic about the 8 hours... He keeps talking about at least 5 hours. He's not very supportive of it at all! Extremely traditional.

I wasn't sure what would be an appropriate time allotment. My FIL who hates the idea of me HSing... Keeps asking me how long are our schools days. It's REALLY bugging me. My son puts in a lot of time each day. He thinks it should be 8 hours like that of a class of 30.

Everything we are doing seems to take about 4 hours. 2 of those hours are book work. I am trying to figure out how to work in all the book work without mentally exhausting him. :confused: Help! I would greatly appreciate it! He is doing great so far! He hasn't mentioned being tired, but I'm his mama so I just know.

I live in indian trail NC! It's less than 20 mins from charlotte! What part of Clt? I lived in the downtown area for 7 years ( I didn't hs at that time though)... We have a very active 4h group (all HS families!). I was sent an email today about frontier girls.. I could PM you the info if you would like. I am also on FB Rebecca Grefrath! I am on several hs groups for the charlotte area!

We will be going into week three for us! We are rocking it and love it a lot! Finally getting into a grove. We are adjusting everything so it works for us!

I think it was well meaning.. Just ignorant. I wouldn't fault her too much, because she doesn't get it.
