Last night our son asked if you had to watch or read something about the candidates or issues before you were allowed to vote. We had to tell him that truth that any registered adult can walk in knowing absolutely nothing about any of it and vote.

Ds just whooped and hollered over making a 104 on his science test (bonus question). He was shouting, "Best test score EVER!"

You know it's a good day when your 10 year old son is in the back seat singing Les Mis songs. He's learning Gavroche's parts with the accent!

After watching a few select scenes of Les Mis, ds said tonight, "Let's play Les Mis and go around to all the neighbors and collect their furniture!".

Heading out soon to co-op. I'm sad because we'll only have 1 day left. It's been such a fun year!

I'm getting ready to take my dd to Sound of Music practice. I'm so excited that she is going to be in the nun chorus and be Sister Sophia.

We took today off of school because I have caught a spring cleaning bug. Next week is looking more and more like an early spring break!

Well, I think I just had my inspiration dashed! I fell today during a co-op class (ask me how!), and my ribcage landed on a sound board on a cart. I don't have any fractures, but I have a large contusion that's probably going to take a few weeks to heal. No pushing, pulling, or lifting for me for some time.

The cat we took in has seemingly gained a lot of weight this week. Please tell me it's because we are feeding her well!

The stray cat we decided yesterday on keeping was gone all day and has returned tonight! Ds cried a lot this afternoon because he thought it had left or was hurt.

I'm spending today thinking through how to make the rest of this year easier because I am starting a part-time job Monday.

Well I'm getting to play the role of "Mean Mommy" today taking away privileges from ds. He would rather play than do school for some odd reason! LOL!

Christmas came early at our house today because of leaving town to be with family! I got the Hobbit soundtrack!!!!

Yes, and worst thing is that it's my sister. I came with her on a trip and brought some homemade gifts to work on. She asked me why did I decide to do that (duh, dh is laid off??). She has been peeking over my shoulders and commenting on things taking a lot of time, asking me how much stuff costs, etc. I think she's trying to judge if it's "worth" it. She even went so far as to tell me not to do anything for her. I had planned on making some things for our family, but now...

I'm enjoying a few days at the beach with my sister and away from the kids and my husband. It's been very relaxing!
