Yes, I looked it up after I posted it and it is in Hendersonville. That would be nice for you because you would be close enough to them to do field trips and sports with them if you wanted. I do think you have to test in 3, 5, and 7th grade. (I could be wrong about the grades) I agree that TN is a great State to Homeschool in.

I live in Chattanooga, but you can go with any umbrella school in the State. We use Aaron Academy and really like it. The only requirement is you turn in a record of attendance and grades once a semester. They sent us a student ID and teacher ID and at the end she will get a diploma and can graduate. There is a homeschool convention each summer here (I am sure there will be one in Nashville too) where several different umbrella schools had booths. You could talk to a Representative of each before you decide.

So what is this sale?

I bought large white boards from Walmart and they would great. They have a tray, magnetic markers, and faint dots to help you write straight. I paid $20 each for 2 and I believe they are at least that big.

My girls are still very excited for school. We just finished our first week. They get up, dressed and eat around 8. Then we go into the class room around 8:30. We come in and I say "Good Morning Girls" and they say "Good Morning Mommy". It is silly but I love it. They we all say the Pledge to the Flag together (I hung a small one in the room). I then read the bible story to them and do Bible. Followed by phonics, reading, and writing. Then recess and snack time. Followed by Math and what ever is that day (History, Science, or Art).

We started today. It went well, but I am SO tired now.

This is my first year homeschooling although DD1 is 6 and will be in first grade. DD2 is 4 and will be doing pre-school. DD3 will just be watching (almost 2). And yes, we are starting TOMORROW!
