That is my problem - the gray won't stay flat with the rest of my hair, but sticks out at odd angles and it's texture is different. Well, at least I can be thankful that I've only got about ten grays right now.
I just turned 30 last year and my big birthday present was gray hair. . . which really wouldn't be so bad, but it sticks staight out instead of lying flat
I feel for ya! I've just discovered the joy of gray hairs - I just pulled one today that was sticking straight out from the top of my head. I really don't want to start coloring my hair. For now, I still yank 'em when I see 'em.
Dontcha love the "do it myself" phases when they are little. My dd (4) was cutting something out today, with her arm bent an odd angle. I tried to show her how to hold the scissors so it would be easier on her hands and she said, "I want to do it my way." This seems to be her new phrase lately - and I'm sure I don't know where she got it from (yeah right! as my dh points at me  )
On my table right now - Mary Poppins (never read before, way better than the movie - especially Mrs. Corry), The Iliad (just some light reading!), and The Arctic Event (Robert Ludlum's new Covert One book - dh has me hooked on these now!)
The Coghill translation is the one mentioned in TWEM (translated into modern English). Or if you want to read in middle English, the Norton edition (edited by Kolve) is suggested.
Another neat tip - beside each thread title there is a blue box with a little white arrow. When you click on that, it takes you to the newest post in that thread since your last log-in.
