We purchased new phones in February with the promise from Verizon of a $100 statement credit. In March we received a paper "bill" (even though we get paperless billing) that said we had the credit. In April it had not posted, so we called, and they said it might take til July. In August it still had not posted, we called again, and were told they were going to apply it manually. We got our September bill and it still hasn't been applied.
I just wonder in what universe is this kind of horrible customer service acceptable. We have called 4 times, been on hold at least 15 minutes each time, with the most recent being today...and we were transferred to a rep in India who wasn't even the right person and he sent us back to the very beginning menu. We hung up. We are trying again.
And how is it okay that they can take so long to get us what they owe us (we have it in writing!) when if the situation were reversed, we would be on the hook. I would like to pay my bills 7 months late with no penalty whatsoever and make them take hours of their time trying to collect.
I am tired of big corporations jerking around little guys. Verizon, you are not the only phone business. I have a very long memory and am a loyal customer until I get gypped, and I will remember this.
