  2. They are available to watch on Discover Education streaming....Only a handful of episodes are available to purchase.
  3. OSU looks like something she would enjoy and keep her on track. Thanks!
  4. My DD12 has a very strong background in Spanish. She just completed High School Spanish Year 2 (semesters 3-4) with very high marks at a private homeschool language school. Next year, it doesn't look like the next level will be available due to low enrollment. The local public school will not allow her to take it there because of her age. I am not real fond of Rosetta Stone. She took a placement test and did a free trial of Tell Me More, but the subject matter for her level was uninteresting to a middle school girl (it focused on business situations). I have been looking at Visual Link, and am wondering if the Level 2 and Level 3 would have engaging material for her age. I have also heard good things about the So You Really Want To Learn (?) series. I love immersion programs. She likes immersion, but also loves to do workbook activities. Any input is much appreciated! Thanks.
  5. My DD12 does not like math! However, she will tolerate Life of Fred and sometimes even asks to do it. LOF is suppose to be self teaching. For her, it is not, but no math program would be for her. I personally think it is a fantastic program. It teaches kids to think, not just memorize facts and equations. It is also very cheap. I should add that my older 2 kids, who are very strong in math, think that LOF is too juvenile (the story, not the math) for them.
