Just wanted to let you know that I have a 9yo ds that is exactly like yours. Writing has been known to end in tears around here. My ds struggles with spelling which is a lot of his problem as well. We are using EIW this year which seems to be working so far because it doesn't demand too much writing for him....you might want to check it out. We struggle more with getting GWG completed because he doesn't like the writing involved in it.

I haven't used this either, but bumping it for you as I am interested in it too.

We switched to the dvd option of SS. We used AAS in the past, but it was getting tedious. Kids like SS better, and so do I. It is completely different teaching format though than AAS, so you should start back at level 1. I would think it would be a lot to do both.

We are trying Veritas Press self paced history this year. DS is excited to start it. Looks like fun!

We just bought a subscritption for Mark Kistler thru the coop. My 3 kids love it! They are begging to do it multiple times a day.
