We plan to finish the end of June, but we are finishing up different subjects before then (math, grammar and spelling) and will be completely done June 28th (writing, SOTW 2 and science). We are taking 7 weeks off for vacation and camps while I file away old stuff and prepare for next year. Jodie

At the private school my boys used to attend, someone emailed all of the lower division parents (k-4) and asked for a $20 donation. She then split that money up into gift cards for pe/art/music/nurse/custodians, etc. it was an inexpensive way to remember all of those people at the end of the year. We always did classroom teachers and aides individually. Jodie

I bought cross and birthstone necklaces for all of my nieces at a silpada party for a friend. They seem to be of nice quality. They also have some sort of guarantee (I don't remember the details) that is reasonable. I bought a few necklaces to wear for fun. I love them. Jodie

Mine finally came either Saturday or today. It had 11 of the 12 items I had ordered... I pleased (the last time I hit a clearance sale, only 1 item out of $300 worth of books came). My status online says Shipped, but the payment still says processing. Good luck! Jodie

I didn't walk in my master's ceremony either. I had already had high school, BS in college and another BS from a medical program. I didn't figure my family (or I) needed to sit through another one. However, one of my coworkers who didn't graduate from college ( just the medical field) did walk so her family could be there and watch. Your daughter may truly not mind if you aren't there, but if you were able to swing it, I'm sure she wouldn't mind feeling special for the day, you know? Jodie

I read a suggestion once to use one of those mesh lingerie bags for each kid to put their dirty socks in when they take them off. Throw the whole bag in the washer and dryer then dump them into the drawer. I'm going to try this soon. I'll just have to train them to put the socks in the bag instead of under the bed, in the closet, etc etc! Jodie
