Thanks. What about for a cake from a box mix. Yes I know many think that's totally awful, but I have never been able to make a cake from scratch that didn't come out dry.
I'm sure this is totally awful health-wise, but here's how I make a moist box cake. Ignore the directions! Purchase a mix that has pudding in it. Use:
1 c water
1 c mayo
3 eggs
1 cake mix
Mix well. Pour in pan. Bake @350 for 30 minutes.

I use olive oil for almost everything. I buy a lighter oil that's labeled "great for baking" so it's not a heavy flavor. (Do I remember the brand? NO!)

You will NOT want to live on the north side because of the traffic and drive time. Cross off Carmel and Fishers. Prices are inflated there, too, IMHO.
Greenwood, on the other hand, would be a great choice and where I would look. I don't know anything about the school system there, but I'd guess it's OK. Lots of growth right now in the Greenwood area.

At least one of the school districts in this area is toying with the idea of going to all e-book textbooks. The SCHOOL would provide the reader and parents would pay for the books. If the reader is lost or damaged, then the parent would be required to replace it. Supposedly this would save the district money. I don't know if they're talking iPads or kindle/nook. I guess that's the wave of the future--lots of mad parents when they get a bill!

No ideas about the sign, but a friend of mine just changed her guest bathroom light switch. She has the light and the fan automatically come on with those automatic light switches. Then there is a switch just for the light. I wonder why they did that but there bathroom is the same right in the middle of everything. So I am guessing that the light only option is for them to over ride the fan automatically coming on - you can shut it off.
This is a good idea. If you can rework the switch to have the fan and light come on, then your problem is solved.

Yup, I could have written the OP. Learning to parent as the kids become adults is a tough, tough task. Give me a 2-yr-old any day!

I think they should have given you a discount of some sort or some other kind of perk for your next stay. Any time I've had a complaint like that, I've been compensated in some manner. Even a minor concession on their part would make you feel like a valued customer rather than a nuisance.

I have heard the girls referred to as Lady Edith (etc.) Crawley. Grantham is the title, not the family name.

I have a Samsung steam washer and dryer--love, love, love them! I have the pedestals, so I'm not standing on my head to get clothes in and out. I've had them for a little over two years with no problems. I wipe out the seal on the washer when I'm finished for the day and leave the door open for it to dry out.

There are oodles of really nice cases for the Fire on ebay at much more reasonable prices. I bought one very much like the Case Crown for about $12 on ebay.
My dd bought me a stylus for my bday...you may want to hunt for something that will also hold a stylus. Just a thought.

I'm currently hsing a 5th grader, but three years ago I had a high school senior and a 2nd grader.
I have hsld 2 through high school. Personally, I think it's as important, if not more so, to hs through the high school years.

We liked it, fwiw. There's a good review here: http://www.pluggedin.com/movies/intheaters/pussinboots.aspx

I had my first when I was 30 and dh was 39. Second at 33 and 42. I was two weeks shy of 43 when I delivered my last and dh was 52. (We wish we'd had more in the middle, but we felt we couldn't because of financial limitations.) Youngest ds was very high needs. By the time he grew out of extreme attachment issues (as in, he had to be attached to my person 24/7), I was 48. That's too late in my book!

I don't know about the "level" for TT...all I know is that my oldes ds used TT algebra in 8th grade through pre-cal in 11, then went to cc for calculus. (As a high school senior, he got the highest grade in the class.) He got great scores on the SAT which translated into a great scholarship.
Youngest ds will use pre-algebra in 7th, and then follow the same course as his older brother. I expect he'll do well, too.

I have laminated all of mine. I have a cold-roll type laminator so it doesn't cost all that much to do it. I'm passing my AAS down to dd for her (future) children. I want it to last!

Can I ask how long it took to work with tea tree oil? We used some OTC suff the dr recommended for months and it did nothing. I finally just stopped because she was so tired of the routine every single night. Since, then she now has more warts appearing.
Ack! You will want to do something right away. Once warts start multiplying, it's very hard to get them under control.
Try the tea tree oil and see if it works. I'd also work on her immune system with extra Vit. C, A and B as well as garlic. If you don't get results, I'd go back to the dr and ask for Aldara. It's expensive, but it works.

How long has it been since your father passed away? I believe there is a limit to the time that items can be submitted to the estate. If the estate has been legally closed, then the hospital has no recourse. In any rate, you have a Release of Claim from the hospital. I think you have zero obligation to pay the bill as it was not your debt. I'd send a copy of that to the collection agency and write a blistering letter to the hospital. I would also get written proof that this item has been cleared and will not adversely affect (or is it effect?) you.

I would treat for a few more days just to be sure. It sounds like it's out, though. Congrats! Those things are a nightmare.

I'm not attending the Cincy convention this year. I was deeply disappointed with the way things were handled and feel, frankly, that GHC's recent statement is pretty empty. If things are really settled, why isn't AIG exhibiting?
I'm not going to any conventions this year. I might visit the vendor hall. I haven't really decided.

Ugh..such bad memories! Remember that scene in Father of the Bride 2 where the girls are on the couch complaining about the heat and everyone else has on a winter parka? That was me my last pregnancy. I spent most of it in my bedroom with the air conditioner and the ceiling fan on HIGH, not moving as much as possible. Heat made me run for the nearest porcelain fixture!
I wish I'd known about the unisom and B; I would have tried that. Mostly, I just suffered for 37 very long weeks.
I hope you're able to get some relief.

Heather in OK has already posted the site I would recommend. My birth story is on that site:

(Thanks! I haven't looked at that for years.)

I do "regular" laundry twice a week--usually. (Bedding gets done and returned to bed immediately.) I used to throw everything in a basket and we'd dig through for stuff. I've abandoned that plan as too impractical. Now I'm somewhat anal about folding clothes as soon as they are finished in the dryer. I don't like wrinkles.
I still sort, even though I wash almost everything on cold. My dh is a machinist and has really dirty jeans/shirts. His clothes I wash on a long, heavy duty cycle in warm water with an extra rinse.
I also fold everything on the couch and ds runs it to the correct rooms. Then everyone is responsible to put things away.

My dh likes the Chebe crust. I get them from Amazon on the Subscribe and Save program.

I have a couple Bibles on the Kindle Fire. I like it for reading. I find it easier to read and concentrate on the words than a print Bible that has hundreds of words on a page.
Here is a free app that works on the Fire. I like that you can easily access podcasts.
I really like this one. It's easy to navigate and you can choose the version...and there's LOTS of versions. (more than I knew about!)

I don't like Sunday games, meetings, classes, etc. We try not to participate in anything that requires Sunday time.
