  2. This topic has been insightful as I will have my first 7th grader come fall. I've been most interested in the science choices and trends, but remain undecided in that category. Thanks to all who have posted! Bible and History: MFW 1850s to Modern Times Made for Work Language Arts: Fix it! Grammar Daily Grammar or Easy Grammar IEW US History Based Writing followed by one of these: IEW Following Narnia, Rockets, Radars and Robots or How to Write a Story Science: TBD but this year I will give him a few choices and let him decide Math: I am finally doing what I've always wanted to, but was afraid to fully jump so far from the regular way of doing things. I've been a math nerd and tutor for almost 20 years, so I can hang with most programs an make them work for any kid, but I want math to be thorough AND fun!: Life of Fred Decimals, Fractions & Percents, PreAlgebra 0,1,2 (and continue if he finishes and understands all the math in these before the year is up) Khan Academy 15-20 min daily PE: jiu jitsu swim kids get dirty in the 'hood Charter school enrichment classes: Literature Enrichment Writing Workshop Industrial Arts Entrepreneurship Multimedia Performance Art Chess
