  1. We've seen Macbeth done in post industrialized world, all in black, leather and scaffolding for the set, black lights.....Midsummer's Night Dream as a merger of two corporations set in the business world/cell phones and all of Puck's lines done in rap, and last year The Tempest with costumes from "steampunk" design.....our friends that attended were very much distracted by the costumes and had a hard time enjoying/following the story line. The changing of scenarios I think is creative but yes it can be distracting also, we usually read the play before seeing it performed so that my kiddos can discuss themes and familiarize themselves with characters.

  19. I was working full time when we had 2 at home/sitter working the afternoon shift and he dayshift. He brought it up and I thought, no way and that I couldn't do something like that. He prayed for a change in heart for me to want to be home more and to homeschool, and after years I agreed - ds had been in ps K-2. Nineteen years later we're still doing it, 2 graduated and one to go. He's the rational one, I'm more emotional...we're in it for the long haul, and when I feel discouraged dh is the one who boosts me up and gets us back on track. He's always been supportive and involved, and he's more realistic, like when he looks at my sched and says "they can't cover 16 subjects in one day ! *)" I tend over achieve......type A personality and curriculum junkie. 20. If you live in or around the area, can you give me any ideas on where NOT to look for apt rentals? We live 5.5 hrs away and need to run down there for a 24hr look over for ds who has received an internship in the area but is busy with classes and finals. An idea of the areas to steer away from would be helpful, we've looked at apartmentguide.com and also the local newspaper but it's hard to tell what the area is like. TIA for any help Emily in IL
