  1. My daughter (a 9th grader) is studying for the A.P. U.S. Government & Politics test using the Wilson textbook (12th ed.) We don't have a syllabus, but we ordered the study guide from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/American-Government-James-Q-Wilson/dp/061856246X The study guide has key terms, multiple choice questions, true/false questions, essay prompts, etc. It is helpful in assigning grades. My daughter has been reading through the textbook, taking notes, and completing questions in the study guide when she finishes each chapter. Since we didn't make a syllabus and get it approved by the College Board, we won't be able to note this course as an official AP course on her transcript, but we plan on designating it as an honors American government course, with her AP score on the transcript as well.
  2. My daughter uses the Fundamentals of Piano Theory workbook series by Keith Snell and Martha Ashleigh from Neil A. Kjos Piano Library. They are clear, and easy to use.
  3. Hi everybody, Has anybody's high schooler taken European History with PA Homeschoolers Online? It looks very intriguing. What was your experience with it? How many hours per week did your ds/dd spend on the class? My daughter is a motivated sophomore (a year ahead) and is very interested in this class. She is currently self-studying for the A.P. U.S. Government & Politics test. :auto:
  4. Hello everybody, Does anybody have experience (good or bad) with Patrick Henry's online AP courses in U.S. or World History? Thanks.
